Nice design, off beat hotel in a quiet area. I was really prepared to enjoy this hotel.
Wi fi was terrible, even after they gave me a second, separate access—I suspect it was weak in this particular room as my daughter, in another room, had not difficulty, and I had not difficulty in her room. And, after a first night of having hot water, it vanished and did not return, even when I ran it for 15 minutes, so I showered in cold water. Afterwards I pointed both these problems out, but management denied that they had occurred and offered no recompense. I virtually NEVER complain about hotels if there are minor problems, and have stayed in hundreds of hotels on six continents. This was a disappointment and I cannot recommend Lloyd's.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was beautiful, and the outdoor shower was definitely a highlight — they blended the Singapore heat with a jungle-like vibe in such a clever and relaxing way. The outdoor pool was absolutely divine as well.
Everything was spotless throughout our stay, and the location couldn’t have been better — just two blocks from Orchard Road with plenty of great food options around. It became one of the highlights of our trip to Singapore, and I 100% recommend staying here.
I also loved that the hotel provides refillable water bottles you can fill with cold water and ice — an amazing detail for those hot Singapore days. All the toiletries and amenities were high-quality and thoughtfully selected. I truly loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The staff was great and the breakfast options were nice. The outdoor shower/bath was really cool and refreshing.
We had an issue with the door lock not working, but the staff worked out solutions to get into the room. Very considerate.

Once again, when you have a staff that clearly enjoys their work, each other, and a love of their hometown, you can't lose! Factor in a stylish property and a location that can't be beat... A really great find!
It's starting to fray a bit, looking old. If Japanese design is your creative driver then the minimalism needs to look intentional.

It’s comfortable, elegant, minimalistic, in a quiet neighborhood yet only blocks away from Orchard Rd. The reception staff was unfailingly helpful and gracious. My friend and I were given a free upgrade to a superior twin bed room, and the extra space was welcome. Beautiful grounds and pool. Loved the rainshower shower open to the garden below. The beds were very comfortable, and the room is so well-designed that we never felt cramped. No on-site restaurant but we had breakfast tokens to two nearby restaurants. We highly recommend the German over the other one. Just steps from our door was a station with coffee and ice water machines and a microwave.

From arrival till departure, it was a seamless stay.
Wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings, and the 2 cleaning ladies were truly amazing.
Our rooms were beautifully presented each day. And always smiling.
Cannot fault it.
Peaceful calm right in the middle of the city.
It's like an oasis.. will not be disappointed

Cleaning was excellent as was the location
The painting smells in the room. Very rude staff. No consideration to a cancelled flight re room costs. Charged me also for staying in the room for an extra 3 hours after having to fork out room costs when i wasnt there. Not cool. Very expensive for what it is. More like a budget hostel. Also mosquitos come in through the gaps in the doors which kept me up half the night.

The overall setting is quiet rate for Singapore, Garden, trees, pool. The bathroom is good and bed comfortable. The place is very clean.
It was close to Trifecta the surfing pool, which was fun and a mall and some cafes.
Our room was opposite of the housekeeping room, which was a bit noisy. But 1. Or 2. Floor would have been good. A good breakfast should be included for the price. We got coupons for 2 places but they didn’t look good so we didn’t try.
