Wonderful
Beautiful heritage hotel in the central park, close to all the attractions while away from traffic. Great swimming pool, restaurant right in the hotel. Completely underrated I think. As opposed to Fullerton or Kempinsky, it is stiull very close to walk to all attraction points with the comfort of coming back to a quiet green oasis

The METT had just been refurbished, so everything was super fresh and clean. The pools were amazing and the staff really friendly. The location was also good in that it was quiet as well as close enough to walk most places.
The drinks in the bar were crazy expensive. surely they could have one reasonabley priced beer for the normal people? Also, the hotel bar was really dark and quiet. Not a lot of atmosphere.

The size of the room
The first room, (junior suite) was too small, the AC noise was just like a plane, the bathroom caps was dirty. Then after discussing we moved to another room, bigger, the AC noise was less. There is no Room Service after 10 pm, and if you need something from the housekeeping after 10 pm, you ll have no reply.

The location is lovely because it is inside the Park. They provide drinking water.
The hotel has changed ownership and will undergo renovation end of the month may be this is why the quality is so bad. I wouldn't recommend the hotel in its current state because it is not worth the price- they should have reduced the rate per night since they are compromising on quality. The quilt cover was torn. My room was also a connecting room so I could hear everything next door including when the people staying fell asleep! The glass windows are not double glazing so you cannot enjoy a bath because those outside can see inside. The rain shower knob was not working.

Location, a good swimming pool and large comfortable room. Also the bar staff on Sunday Han Thu was very friendly and helpful.
A couple of niggles. Tea making facility not stocked with ordinary teabags or milk Phone to reception had no instructions and couldn’t get to work Requesting taxi to airport was told not possible if paying by card and this took a while to get sorted!! Aircon couldn’t be turned off on first night without visiting reception control. No information in room on hotel facilities, breakfast times etc. We’ve been told the hotel is being closed for refurbishment so hope this feedback is helpful.

History Location facilities.
Room layout is not sensible. Bath obstructive in room position, plinth around bath on floor is dangerous to trip over at night. Glass door on toilet somewhat lacks privacy. Not enough power sockets.

Great location in Fort Canning Park. Two good sized swimming pools surrounded by trees. Decent breakfast. Lovely old heritage building.
It felt really run down and in need of renovation. Room smelled damp and musty. Dirty and stained wallpaper. Bath robes and pool towels ‘on request’ only. Not a five star property any more which is really sad as it used to be a lovely hotel.

Beautiful colonial building and exclusive feeling hotel. Location in the centre of this historic park makes it pretty unique and an escape from the city.
