Breakfast was cold at times especially sscrambled eggs bacon was good but ran out several times and more had to be asked for, th room was clean and tidy but hot water for shower was not very good.
better hotter water in room for bathing and showering, no free bottled water in rooms bar fridge did not store alcoholic beverages. Nerest MRT should have been advised in LObby

The location was great and very convenient. The hotel itself looked and was amazing and very secure. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very kind, understanding and helpful.
The only thing I didn’t like was the incredible humidity in the room. I understand that humidity is generally an issue in Singapore, since during our stay humidity outdoors was very very high as well. But inside the room it was so humid to the extent that the sheets felt wet and a very thin piece of clothing that I hung up to dry for two days stayed wet.

Location. Can’t beat it, central but quiet with lots of restaurants and stores all around you within minutes walk. The service and responsive from staff was amazing.
The bathroom in our room 511 was dated. Some areas had mould like black stains, some tiles were out of place, the shower water was inconsistent in temperature making showers an adventure, and there were tiny bugs/spiders coming from the drain in the mornings.

We had a wonderful stay. Singapore is known for being pricey, but we found the value of the Carlton City Hotel to be very good. The hotel is very well-situated - within walking distance of many food options (including Hawker centers). The hotel is also not too far of a waIk from the Marina Bay. Public transportation stops are nearby making it very easy and quick to get around the city. We had a wonderful view from the hotel room overlooking the Chinatown area. The room itself was lovely: spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We slept very well throughout our stay. We experienced wonderful service from the staff. Jenna at reception was especially very kind and helpful in making our stay memorable! We would definitely return our next time in Singapore.

Had a room on floor 20. Quiet. Location was excellent—across from Tanjong Pagar hawker stalls and top notch espresso Koffee Kollective (2nd floor). Hotel breakfast was solid, but nothing to write home about.
Coffee/patisserie in lobby was 7/10. Was hoping it would be better. Looks great, but croissants were not baked that day.
