The staff were exceptional in every possible way. They were friendly, went out of their way to be helpful. The room was compact, but we'll appointed and cozy. And, the building itself has real personality.
I have mobility issues and the first room I was shown had stairs leading to the bathroom which would have been difficult for me. The staff switched my room to one with no stairs in it.

Lovelly little hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Small but well appointed and comfy room.
Nice breakfast.
Storage for clothes. I was there for 4 nights and it would have been nice to be able to unpack properly and store clothes somewhere.

We stayed in two rooms: a single room for my son and a double room for my husband and me. My son’s room, a single, was very charming—more than I had expected. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I absolutely loved the fluffy towels (we stayed at eight hotels during this trip, and yours had the best towels!).
My only complaint was breakfast. We had to eat outside, which was a bit uncomfortable due to the humidity. It would have been nice to have the option to dine indoors. Also, given the hotel’s strong historical connection to Chinatown, I was expecting to see some Chinese breakfast options as well.
That said, I really loved the uniqueness of your hotel, and overall it was a lovely boutique hotel experience. Thank you!

Excellent location close to Chinatown and the MRT. The room was a nice change from the standard hotel style accommodation. Breakfast was included and to be had in a neighboring cafe / restaurant. We were able to shower and freshen up before our flight home at The Clan Hotel next door. This option was volunteered to us by the friendly and helpful staff and was most appreciated.
Our room did not have a window so we lost track of time and slept in on the day of our departure. Fortunately check out time was 12pm, so we still had time to have breakfast, pack and check out.

Excellent location, the room was extremely boutique and was a wonderful experience to stay in. The included breakfast was wonderful and met beyond my expectations.
The best part was the MRT right next to the hotel, could travel to the corners of the city with ease.

Location is convenient right at the MRT and between China Town and CBD
Had the worst nights ever. Hotel is right next to a party/bar area and there have been music and drunk people screaming every day until 1:00-2:00 am. Without earplugs would be impossible to sleep.
Breakfast is also not worth to book if you stay for several days. It’s in a small restaurant next door and they only serve egg dishes. Gets pretty boring quickly

Stay here if you want to experience staying in a historic converted old shophouse in the center of many attractions. It’s walking distance to Chinatown, Marina Bay, Clark Quay, Pekin Street, Lau Pa Sat. Many dining and food options steps away. A smaller boutique hotel on a more personal level.
Our room was quite small, with little closet space, and a very tight bathroom. Location near many bars with the possibility of street noise, but this was muted, and not a problem for us. The hotel did not have a restaurant, but used a little outside restaurant a short distance away for its included breakfast. Options for breakfast were limited.

Wonderful location. Convenient public transportation, restaurants and nightlife, convenience stores. Marina Bay and other tourist sites in walking distance. Single room had excellent bed and shower and was spacious. Excellent air conditioning.
Door didn’t always close and latch by itself. One day housekeeper made up room and left door open.

Helpful staff, convenient location next to shops, restaurants and public transportation. Comfortable and efficient room. Complimentary mini bar,Nespresso coffee machine.
The included breakfast was average. Set options, not much variety. Water down juices, bad coffee.

An awesome hotel which is very well kept. The room is small but it is organized very well to take advantage of every inch. The bed is comfortable, the shower is great, and the air conditioning works really well (very important feature in Singapore). The complimentary cans of soda in the fridge, the bags of chips, and the coffee machine capsules were restocked EVERY DAY.
The room is small and it's a bit noisy outside on weekend nights
