to be honest initially i booked this hotel becuse it was the only hotel with good rating and not astronomical prices, that had junior suite option to book with a child rather than 2 separate rooms and i wasn't very happy it was not in the very center. but what a fortunate "mistake". the hotel is a bit old, but it's very clean, so it's rather a "charming tiredness" of an estate with history. beds were very comfortable, our 3yo son a sofa bed to himself and without having to fold the sofa every day, there was plenty of living space in the living room. the room was on the ground floor and you can just go out into the restaurant and hotel garden through your room - very handy. breakfast was very decent and abundant, food in the restaurant was ok. and the panoramic sauna right on the waters of the canal, omg, what a luxury! and the views from it! that has been the nicest sauna i've ever been to if i had a rating :) there was a bit of an issue maintaining the temperature and felt like the 80 degrees that were on the screen were not really 80, but i forgave it right there ) and the reason i wasn't happy with my choice - the distance from center- turned out to be a great advantage, as it takes a scenic relaxing walk along the canal surrounded by greenery, ducks, swans sometimes and then you get right into the area where most of the big famous museums are, as well as several museums for kids (Junibacken was our top), as well as Vasa Ship and Tivoli Park. so Villa Kallhägen was for us a great addition to the beautiful Stockholm experience.

Isolated l, calm, nice view, and still close to city center.
Breakfast not a lot of types but very delicious, which I very liked ,simple and rich.
Isolation between rooms not that good, u can hear people talking in next room.

The location is just few stops from center of the city. It gives a very scandinavian summer / club house vibes as it is located in front of the water. It is very peaceful. It was my third time in Stockholm, way better than being in Gamle stan. And it is right by the embassy which is nice for those who have interviews
The front desk is not occupied most of the time so you have to wait a bit.

Nicely situated on the water, easy to get to in central stockholm. The bus stops right outside and takes you to the centre. Good breakfast buffet
We had three rooms they were not close together but that was ok. there was a wedding going on so a big group of guests also in the hotel

Location was easy to reach with bus from city center.
I was in Stockholm to work, I wanted to relax and sleep early. I like to sleep with my window open. It faced the inner yard, which had parties going on until late every evening.
