There were quite a few of us staying and the staff was exceptional in taking care of us all. Corine (sp) was extremely helpful in suggesting local eateries and assisting with reservations and making sure our every need was met. The common areas were comfortable to gather for drinks. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of variety. Location was great for the tram and ferries making it easy to go see the sites. All around a very pleasant accommodation.

CARINA was incredibly helpful!!! The breakfast was AMAZING!! The rooms are sweet, quiet and comfortable and the bathroom renovations are phenomenal—best shower ever!! So conveniently located. All the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. Thank you!!

Staff was welcoming and helpful, room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was very good. Loved the architecture and design of the hotel, especially the breakfast room and the upstairs lounge with a view of the water. Appreciated the downstairs lounge too, with coffee and treats available.

This small historic building is full of character and their staff is the best, specially Karina. From the moment we checked in, she went out of her way to make sure we were always feeling at home. Their breakfast offers a great variety and is always well attended by friendly staff. The location was ideal to see all the sights on foot or with the ferries.

The hotel has a lot of history and if you appreciate that the atmosphere gives you a feeling of being in a “ homely” place, you will really enjoy your stay.

It was a very charming hotel. I felt like I’d stepped back to an earlier time.
This isn’t the problem of the property, but it was very hard to find. Maybe the management could work with Google Maps to get that corrected?

The location was ideal, the room small but comfortable, and the breakfast was top notch. Would definitely return!
The lighting in the room was a bit lacking, and it was difficult to see enough to use a hair dryer. The dryer could not be plugged in in the bathroom.

The early 20th century building was GORGEOUS! The architecture, circular marble staircase with red carpet, stunning wood floor patterns, sitting room with balcony overlooking the water for all to use, period lighting fixtures, beautiful stained glass windows in the breakfast rooms- just sooo special!!! In addition: Wonderful staff, breakfast and location - close to everything!!!
There are only 29 rooms, I believe, and they’re all on the first floor. No elevator but the SUPER friendly staff was happy to help with the suitcases.

The location was outstanding.
We have local friends who came to visit us at the hotel. We were having a beer in the lounge area and the young man at the front desk said they couldn’t have one because they weren’t staying there.
