I had a most wonderful time here! The history is fascinating and they have made the place a very delightful hotel with a nice restaurant. It was clean, comfortable and very interesting!
I took an Uber to Gamla Stan and the ferry to the museums I wanted to see from there. It was the perfect place to stay for my adventures in Stockholm!
Some people might feel uncomfortable with the history of the place, but I felt that the museum portion respectfully acknowledged it. And I like spooky things frankly, so it was great for me.

Langholmen is a tranquil Oasis. It's perfect setting for a getaway. Public transportation and all the amenities that a big city has to offer are a 5 to 8-minute walk away. We will be back
I didn't realize that the facility had a hostel and hotel. The three-person accommodation was a little claustrophobic. The staff were extremely accommodating and we moved to a bunk room that accommodated two people which was perfect for us.

Very interesting history here. Staff is very pleasant and maintains the property well. Breakfast buffet is excellent, with many options. Långholmen Island has numerous trails, and there are beautiful community gardens on the western side.

They charged us 9€ for towel and bed linen. We pay for room with 2 single begs but get one double-bed room. Room did not look the same as the pictures. It feels much bigger from pictures.

Really nice design to the building and the layout of the halls/rooms.
Staff were really accommodating and helpful.
Do be aware that you are sharing a room the size of an old prison cell so make sure it's with someone you don't mind being that close with!!..

Staying in a refurbished prison is so cool. Staying in cells that still feel like prison cell, while remaining comfortable, is awesome!

Shower great.
We had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was fantastic!
Not serviced really close to public transport. Min 15 min walk, but a nice walk.

Prison building very special place to stay. Excellent location. Metro walking distance 10’. Beach in front hotel. Restaurant very good. Extensive buffet breakfast. Dinner very good as well.
With booking through Booking.Com not very clear whether you book Hostel or Hotel. Not the hotels fault.
