Brilliant stay. Converted beautifully into a very comfortable hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the museum and learning about the island and prison.
Not many negatives for me. Disappointed that the restaurant closed early on a Sunday but a few decent restaurant options a 10 minute walk away.

The differential of this place is the opportunity to stay in a former prison, to enjoy this uniqueness, the structure of the building
The property is not located in a central area and to get there envolves different transportation and walking. The walking part can be a bit scary when it’s very late at night or when you have a big luggage.
The basic room with the bunk bed is very small and can be inconvenient if you are not alone or with luggage.

Location was nice, although getting told this location was for old people. It is a long walk from Gamla stan/ main city but very much worth it, it is amazing. If you're young there is not much of a young person vibe but we were out most of the time so did not matter much. Hostel itself is great, very unique experience staying in a prison and is well kept.
Showers didn't warm up one morning. Shower also flooded - was only issue and is very minor because worked the other days.

The building itself is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. The atmosphere and staff were incredible. The rooms were compact but user friendly. The wifi was speedy.
Tiny problems: the mattress was a little thin, the bar was quite expensive, the TV was unable to connect to phone or chromecast so was unusable as we aren't Swedish speakers. These are all petty in comparison to an overall incredible stay!

Breakfast and private cell. Hotel doubled as a museum which was very interesting. Great place to stay in the winter as surrounded by snow and I am writing more just to fill space lorem ipsum style. swag swag swag swag
The beds were just a little bit too short for a man of my stature (one hundred and eightyfive centimeters) also it was situated in sweden which is a little impractical for someone who lives in the united kingdom)

It is a lovely location, close to undergroud and shops while at the same time in the middle of the park across from the water
The bunk beds are tough to navigate. Found it particularly difficult to climb up. Only for very fit guests.
Sheets and towels have to be paid separately at the location. Nowadays I do not see the point of that since the price is very similar to a hotel. It should be included in the price.

Staff was amazing, room was small and cozy. Bed was very comfortable.
Power in our room went out but we told staff and they fixed it immediately so it was fine. Whole thing was over in like 2 minutes.
