Located on Skeppsholmen Island in Stockholm, this STF hostel is a former navy barrack called Hantverkshuset. Moderna Museum and East Asia Museum within walking distance. The guest rooms are located in the main building featuring large windows, high ceiling and views of the water or park. The property was central and very close to the main attraction. Very reasonable price.
It was not as clean as expected. The room was very dusty and i dont think it was totally cleaned. We stayed at 402 and the whole corridor of those rooms had a very bad smell, including our room. Also the showers were not cleaned properly. We found hairs and toilet paper on the ground one day and they were still there when we left.

Nice staff, excellent location, clean bathrooms, and rooms.
The air quality in my room was not ideal, a bit stuffy (I did sleep in the attic room), and there was a lamp on all night.

Absolutely loved the place, very clean rooms and shared spaces and the staff was friendly and helpful. The view from my shared room was INCREDIBLE. There were a bunch of tables with chairs near windows in hallways and other spaces, which made it possible to hang out with someone or by yourself outside of your room if it was too loud or if someone was sleeping and you didn't want to disturb them. The location is SO good, you could arrive quickly by foot literally anywhere central (with an amazing view of city from the canal) and do a lot of sightseeing within a walking distance.
Someone ate my ravioli in the common fridge even though it had a sticker with my name on it, people have no shame sometimes :( Not the hostel's fault though.

This property is a hotel. It’s not a hostel. The rooms are huge. Everything is so spacious and clean. There is a nice kitchen and the fridge had space too. Usually, I don’t see friendly staff at such places, but hear the staff was really nice especially the young boy who works in the morning. The staff later was not as friendly. The location is excellent. It’s close to everything. The view is magnificent. I cannot believe the view we had. I love this place.
Nothing. It was all great. Clean and spacious and somebody at the front desk at all times. It was awesome.
