Located on Skeppsholmen Island in Stockholm, this STF hostel is a former navy barrack called Hantverkshuset. Moderna Museum and East Asia Museum within walking distance. The guest rooms are located in the main building featuring large windows, high ceiling and views of the water or park. Helpful staff, I had the family room so I had lots of space, can't talk about any shared rooms. Toilets and showers were clean. Breakfast buffet had variety. Great location by Old Stockholm
The main concern was how noisy all the doors were. Going from one room to the bathroom could involve opening 3-4 doors, and the loud clacking of the doors echoed through the halls. Also, depending on where your room is, it could involve quite a few stairs to get to. The USB port didn't charge my phone, it just kept the battery where it was.

Beautiful, scenic and quiet location, easy walking distance from other part of the city but on a quiet, leafy island. Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is very good with many options. The adjoining cafe in the building serves good food, useful if you want a simple and delicious dinner on site, there’s also a kitchen on site to prepare your own food. There are a small number of excellent cafes and restaurants nearby on the island. Would recommend this hostel.

Incredibly spacious room with shared bathroom and more beds than we asked for. Lots of space to put luggage and belongings and very comfortable beds. The shared bathrooms had proper amenities and were very clean. We paid extra for breakfast at an affordable price and it was quite extensive.
There was only one shared shower near us, and two toilets.
