The position of the hotel was nice.
The size of the room, the price of the room, we didn't have a wardrobe for clothes. There wasn't even a small fridge. The bathroom was too small. Even though we asked the room to be cleaned every other day(which they asked) we only had it cleaned once for 6 nights.

The location of this hotel was very convenient--it has a metro station right around the corner, and is in a fun, vibrant neighborhood.
We had to find a room last-minute and what was available was a basement room with no windows. I was prepared for the weirdness of no windows, but it smelled very sour and stinky and there were some flies in the room, which was odd (no windows!). We discovered the smells (and likely the flies) were coming from the bathroom shower drain, because when you try to shower, the drain does not work and the water floods the bathroom floor. Also, the room is next to an elevator shaft as well as an echo-y stairwell with a heavy door that slams shut. We were there on a Saturday night and the foot traffic was constant, all night long, and we weren't able to sleep at all with all of the noise and the terrible smell. I've had great stays at other Scandic hotels and perhaps the rooms above ground are quieter and do not have plumbing issues, but I'll definitely never stay in a basement room here ever again!

Good location, right next to the metro station, 10 min walk to the comuter train. Gamla stan is also walking distance away. Excellent breakfast options.
