Located directly across the street from Stockholm Central Station, Scandic Continental features a roof-top terrace bar with impressive city views, along with an in-house restaurant, The Market. Very convenient location, close to the train station and bus terminal.
Some others in our group had difficulty getting ice in their room for drinks. We found out it was preferable to go to the "rooftop bar" and get ice there, IF you had an ice bucket (which were in short supply). Initially, the room given to us was far too small, with no window. Fortunately, an upgrade room was available and close to the others in our group.

We arrived by train and location was fabulous! The room was spacious, the bathroom was roomy, the room was quiet and staff was informative and helpful. Check in was easy and done by a person (I appreciated that).... the bar was lively but not out of control. Enjoyable experience overall.

Great Standard with great amenities. Daytime staff were nice
Night shift staff were not so spot on and not kind and explaining what's going on.. Only wine in the floor bar since alcohol licence needed to serve other alcohol... Then we found out that cider is also available.. Wasn't too great service...
