We had a great stay at Hotel Rival. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The room had nice balcony. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had a lot choices both buffer and a la carte. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Stockholm.

Amazing front desk staff , everyone was very helpful and professional ! Michelle at the front desk was incredible and gave us wonderful recommendations as well as helped booking excursions . Room is very comfortable , updated and nicely decorated. Very convenient area to stay in Stockholm . Highly recommend

Location was perfect - next to a beautiful square and close to subway. Neighborhood was quiet but close to numerous restaurants. Decor was super charming. We had the balcony room deluxe room, which was perfect!

We really enjoyed the central yet quiet location located right by a little park and surrounded by amazing Cafes, bakerys and small shops.
The carpets and some furniture really needs updating as they have becoming dirty from wear and tear. Loved the interior apart from the fact that it felt a bit grubby.

Lovely stay for our first time in Stockholm! Loved the neighborhood, VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped us plan our stay, good food and drink at the restaurant, large and comfortable room! Really glad we stayed in this area instead of Gamla Stan as we had a quiet, peaceful setting but easy to walk to good restaurants and easy to take transit to wherever we wanted to go!

This beautiful hotel overlooks a lovely square, which features a magnificent fountain. We had a lovely comfortable room overlooking the square. The breakfast was exceptional, catering for every taste. The staff were all lovely: so friendly and helpful.
We had an old wooden blind barely covering the huge bathroom window separating the two rooms.

The hotel was located in a charming neighborhood and provided a lovely good sized room. Lobby bar and restaurant in hotel were both exceptional.

Excellent/superior breakfast. Beautiful room. Balcony was worth the extra cost! We enjoyed the scenery and the nearby park and watching the daily life of the locals passing by. Concierge service was excellent. Excellent staff.

The hotel is lovely and on a pretty park. It has small tables in the front on two levels so that you can have drinks and food and look out. The staff is absolutely charming and cannot do enough to help with suggestions and advice. We had two meals there and they were good. The breakfast was amazing since they will cook to order as well as provide an excellent buffet. There is champagne available at breakfast. The place has a rock and roll vibe, not surprising since one of ABBA owns it, but also a little luxurious. We had a very nice bathroom.
We needed a twin room and took the least expensive, so one should consider that. There was nothing wrong with it--we even had a nice window, but it was a bit tight with a desk and probably meant for kids. Beds were short. There was a DVD player and music but a bit old-school. But really, no complaints.

The minute we arrived the reception staff was wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was lovely and the bathroom had a terrific shower and lots of space for toiletries. Our room was on the same floor as the coffee/snack area and ice maker and it was very convenient but not noisy at all. Breakfast was wonderful as they not only had a hearty buffet but also offered made to order items and many were able to be prepared gluten free. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as there were many things to do in walking distance and lots of great restaurants nearby. We loved this hotel and will definitely return on our next visit to Stockholm.

The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and helpful and we asked a lot of questions of them. The bathroom was very nice with a heated floor and excellent, well-fitted hot water shower. The breakfast was quite excellent and varied and guests could get made to order items as part of the cost for all rooms. The hotel faces a lovely park and one can sit outside on two floors for drinks and food in the evening. There is also free 24 hr. tea, coffee and cookies on the 4th floor. The room window opened for fresh air.
We had one of the least expensive rooms with twin beds as requested, limited storage and it was relatively small but had a desk, TV, good lighting. The TV was a bit outdated and didn't seem to be a smart TV, but this was minor. They did have a video player with older movies.
