Inspired by its Nordic roots, the hotel has been redesigned to create a modern and stylish atmosphere, with a full renovation of all rooms in 2024. The decor reflects the soul of J – the healing power of the sea and nature. The rooms at Hotel J have light wooden floors and natural colors. The bathrooms offer either a shower or a bathtub. Many rooms have a balcony or terrace with views of the sea or the tranquil garden. The hotel also offers regular wellness activities such as breathwork, yoga and sound healing. You also have access to our newly built gym free of charge. Nyckelviken nature reserve is a 15-minute walk from Hotel J. Stay 35 minutes by boat from Stockholm Nybroplan and enjoy our restaurant by the water, a summer terrace and a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. Restaurant J specializes in fish and seafood dishes. Nacka Strand's terminal is 1640 feet away and the ferry to the center departs every 30 minutes. You live 1312 feet from the Nacka strand bus stop. The Strömma boat can take you out to the Stockholm archipelago, it departs during summer

The natural surroundings, food and vibe. Swedish summer dream.
Some of the staffs reactions and lack of will to solve problems. The reaction was that the problems raised regarding food or in the room room where just my problem not something that they should even know or do something about. But may be a cultural difference? Rooms are v. Different within same categories. There is an older and then a newer building and there is a difference.

Excellent location for ferry to Stockholm or to islands. Room was spacious. Staff were helpful. Peaceful views but not remote. The hotel is near a development with a useful mini supermarket

Very nice place in Stockholm. It feels like you are in countryside but actually you are in a city. Good personnel, fantastic food, very nice views over the sea.

The hotel was amazing. Great location out of the city but easy to get around on the boat a 2 minute walk to the pier. Easy to get into the city or out to the islands. We did a day trip to Grinda, well recommended. Breakfast is great, sauna and yoga classes excellent and both restaurants were amazing.

Felt very impersonal. Felt just like we were a number and not like guests. When we left they didn’t even as if we had enjoyed our trip. Didn’t like the breakfast set up where you had to either take your food up a flight of stairs or down steps outside to an undercover terrace.
