Wonderful
The Sparrow is a fine older hotel that has been nicely kept and updated. It is run by well-trained, detail-oriented staff, who were always ready to assist in any way. The rooms are well-serviced and comfortable (our bathroom quite large!), the breakfast there is wonderful, and we also utilized the nice bar (with food options), and once their Bistro where we had a wonderful meal. The location is quite good, in what turned out to be one of the best areas of Stockholm, very close to the very good metro stations which we used almost exclusively.
A couple more hooks in the bathroom for hanging items would have been nice, but they at least had some, which is more than most of the hotels we have stayed in lately.

The location was great, and it was very quiet, even on a busy street. We were able to walk to many places we wanted to tour. There were lots of retail shops and restaurants (including a fabulous food hall) nearby. We would go back again!

The hotel was very comfortable, the superior room was well equipped with a large bed. Breakfast very good, location fairly central the road leading down to the Strandvagen with the ferries and local boat trips.
Breakfast was good but staff a bit too attentive. As it was a buffet you needed to move about and seem to be constantly dodging staff refilling and removing used plates etc. Fault with server caused bedroom television to switch on unbidden after midnight three nights in a row.

We loved the style and ambience of the hotel, its lovely room with the view to the street and the art nouveau buildings, the delicious and abundant breakfast and the pleasant staff.
Would suggest having washcloths with the towels.

Inner design, perfect location, that hotel is not big, the room was ready before check-in, really quite inside for room with a city view
Not a big variation for breakfast, not enough if you stay more than 2 nights
When I booked the hotel the retro fireplace was on all the pictures for the chosen room type. It was a pity that in reality the room we got was without it. If I knew that not all rooms have it I would definitely leave a proper message at the booking phaze.
I expected a toothpaste in such a gorgeous hotel.

Charming interior, nice breakfast though it does get a bit busy at the small buffet.
Location, I was Up 3 nights because of noise and music in the streets. On Saturday night/Sunday morning the music only stopped at 05:00!!

This hotel was more pricey than those I usually stay in but I needed a good hotel that lies in that area so I picked this one. One of the best things was a very spacious bathroom. It was really nice and comfortable to take a shower, to put all my skincare and makeup on the sink. The lighting was gorgeous, too, easy to apply make-up.
The bed was okay, by that I mean it was comfortable to sleep in but the matress was not very hard. The pillows were also okay, very soft but not as soft as in some hotels where you don't even feel them.
The room was not very big I would say. If there were 2 people there, I think it would be hard for them to keep the suitcase open.
The table and the chair were fine but I would say that if you plan to work from your room this is not the best option.
The coolest thing is that you can open the window! I enjoyed it so much as I love having fresh air in the room!
The air conditioner was a bit weird. It took it a lot of time to change the temperature. And I didn't open the window during that time so I guess it's just how it works.
The tea and coffee selection was great! I enjoyed the tea so much that I ordered the tea from the brand that they used when I got home.
You do hear the sounds from the corridor but my neighbors were quiet so it was just general noise from the door being opened, or a suitcase being brought.
The breakfast was good. The selection is small but the quality is superb. The coffee was one of the best I had in a Swedish hotel, and they serve warm milk, too.
It was very nice to go for a walk in the neighbourhood, there are some many places to visit around: shops, cafes, restaurants.
I didn't find any.
