Room was nice, but some points to develop: big television breaks harmony definitely. In this price level I wouldn’t like to see dust on a baseboards. Also, be aware, at least in weekend evenings there is terribly noisy traffic at Strandvägen until late night. So, if you need quiet environment, make sure your windows are not on side of street.

Totally overprized for a run down hotel. Restaurant also subpar. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is definitely not a 5-star hotel. Perhaps 20 years ago but not anymore.

Unfortunately, my stay at Hotel Diplomat Stockholm fell short of my expectations, both in terms of the room itself and, more importantly, the service I received. The room’s layout was disappointing, with considerable unused space that could have been better utilised to make the room more comfortable and functional. However, what left the most unpleasant impression was my experience with a male receptionist, who had a tanned complexion and a mole on his face. His attitude towards both my friend and me was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, particularly during a disagreement regarding a spa cancellation fee. I had not been informed of any cancellation charges, either when making the booking or when cancelling the appointment. What bothered me even more was the noticeable difference in how he treated us compared to other guests. While he was unfriendly and visibly irritated with us, he appeared considerably warmer, more welcoming and accommodating towards white guests. As Arab guests, this difference in treatment made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and I could not help but question whether racial prejudice played a role. Regardless of his intentions, no guest should be made to feel that they are being treated differently because of their background. Furthermore, despite settling my bill upon checkout, the spa cancellation fee was charged to my credit card approximately two to three hours after my departure. To date, I have yet to receive a refund. I found this particularly unprofessional and concerning, especially given the earlier disagreement over a fee that had never been communicated to me. I would, however, like to acknowledge Zeynab, who was wonderful and took the time to call and apologise for what had happened. Her professionalism and kindness were genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, the experience left a lasting negative impression.

Not many facilities

For a 5 star property the service was surprisingly distanced and not really efficient, especially around the breakfast and bar areas. In my room category the bathroom with inexplicably small.

rooms are fair with good equipments. breakfast, modest-fair elevator (-1/10):one old elevator and not fast enough gym: 3/10 I would expect more for such a hotel and price. things are not much what you expect from a luxury 5 stars hotel. all in all its good but not luxury , and priced for luxury
