The best bed I’ve ever slept in and let’s not talk about the sheets a wonderful they were also first class service. They upgraded us cause it was my moms birthday and it was a complete surprise. I am so happy with our stay.

The food was very good and the concierge helpful. These are the only redeeming qualities
The bathtub leaked water in the whole bathroom. It was 4 pm. I was told maintenance left for the weekend and not to use the bathroom in a suite I payed 1500 euros per night, and that maintenance will come next day. Next day, 10 am ,the make my room sign was on. Room uncleaned until 3pm and bathtub unattended. Many phone calls later the room was “cleaned” in 15 mns and bathtub fixed. It was already 24 hrs passed.i was there for 2 nights only to attend a concert and asked via the chat system for turndown service and vanity items refreshed as nothing had been done when the room was supposedly cleaned and left to the concert. Upon return, no vanity items delivered of course so i texted the chat service again for the items . I was told housekeeping had left. It was 11:40. The reception guy told me that it was not his job to get me anything, that we had too many demands( cleaning room and unleaking bathtub are a lot of demands) and came and basically threw the items in my face. The pb was they had a chat system and we had 2 rooms and they couldn’t figure out which room to service. Never had they thought to inform us they had one chat per booking and not per room as do all other 5 star hotels. Anyway, the hotel doesnt function in the weekend but is very happy to take full rates while not having housekeeping after 11. I spent a quarter of my time chatting for requests or being dismissed bc i had basic demands.

The standard room was very spacious with a king bed, large desk, seating, and a large bathroom. My room faced an interior courtyard and was very quiet.

Beautiful, classic hotel in an old world style that's becoming harder to find. We especially loved the staff at the Cadier Bar, where we spent several meals. Impressive wine list!
Upon arrival, we lugged our bags up the front steps as doormen watched. I was surprised that a 5-star hotel didn't rush out with valets. Slightly disappointed that the hotel's main restaurants were closed for two weeks over the holidays.
