Featuring a hip lounge, several social spaces and a bar with Nordic-inspired cocktail drinks, Generator Stockholm is located in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm. At this hostel, you can choose dormitory rooms or private guest rooms. Each private guest room features a private bathroom with shower, and dormitory rooms share private bathroom facilities. All rooms have a city view. Free WiFi is available at this hostel. A restaurant, cafe and 24-hour reception are also featured at Generator Stockholm. Drottninggatan Shopping Street is a 6-minute walk from the hostel, while Sergels Torg Square is 0.7 mi away. Stockholm Central Station is just a 10-minute walk away. Please note that dogs are the only pets than can be accommodated. Dogs are allowed in Private rooms only for an extra fee of 250 SEK per pet per night, upon request. Pets are not permitted in dorms. Generator Stockholm welcomes all guests for stays of up to 28 consecutive nights. This maximum stay applies whether the nights are booked under a single reservation or across multiple bookings. We do not provide a shared kitchen facilities, however we offer incredible local food in both Hilma Bar and Frida’s Cafe.

I liked that the place was clean enough to look good and it was organised very well
I did not like that I had to wait a day to switch my bed to ground floor The main door required keycard to enter but not the reception but everyone could just walk around it The reception got my card info saying it is for guarantee rather I did not agree to this before scheduling a huge red flag

Location was good, there was a bar and restaurant next door, room was spacious and clean. all facilities were pretty good.
We left the cleaning request card out and the room was not cleaned. Nothing major.

A great spot to stay in- very central to everything. Good facilities- the pre paid breakfast was great value. Good atmosphere in the hostel, lots of people of all ages. The family room was very spacious.

Disappointing
Lockets are expensive, but cheaper than at Central Station. The facilities are.very clean. Common lounging area.is.comfortable,.with lots of.electric.ports (but you are.not.supposed.to.eat.your own food there).
This is a hotel with shared rooms, and not a hostel. There is no.shared.kitchen or.kitchenette, and you are.discouraged.(prohibited?) from bringing your own food and drink on the premises. One elevator did not.work during part.of.my stay, which bummed out quite.a.few.people on higher.floors. Food and drink onsite.is.more.expensive than food court and environs at Central Station. I may be the.only.visitor.who was.not aware that Generator operates more as a hotel than a hostel. But be aware!

Excellent and helpful staff members. Okay location if you are arriving by train. Good amount of space on the ground floor for seating.
No towels provided at all for the high price of the place. Not even a hand towel in the bathroom where I stayed to dry your hands. Almost all attractions are on the other side of the train station, so lots of time is spent getting to/from museums. Very high price for a room shared with three strangers.

The room was excellent as it included a large enough queen bed that we weren't cramped. We also had a sofa that could have turned into a bed. The accessible bathroom was large and well set up. Breakfasts were good. The attached restaurant was convenient. It was located a few blocks from S:T Eriksplan, which was an area with lots of shops. Had we known ahead of time, we could have gotten off the airport bus there instead of at the Stockholm Central bus station and transportation would be been much simpler.
The automatic light in the bathroom was annoying to my spouse, as it lit up very brightly at night, but also would turn off automatically if you were too still.

It’s a money generator pretending to be a hostel. There was nowhere to get water and the facilities were insanely overpriced. The pillows gave us allergies and we had to use towels instead. Very dirty and dusty and just a bad experience.

This was my first time at a hostel and I had an incredible time. I think this location brings the vibes.
The bathrooms being in the room made it difficult to respect people sleeping when you need to get ready. Plus the bathrooms were not maintained regularly and got gross
