Location is great - super picturesque and close to the city via the ferry.
Breakfast was kind of bland - a fairly average hotel breakfast. The room was super awkward - long and narrow with a single window that was way too high - probably 1.50-1.80m above the ground, resulting in no meaningful view. The general vibe of the room was also that things are in disrepair - shower curtain was broken in a few places, cabinet doors were sagging, one of the lights was not functional.

The convenience of taking the ferry to several locations.
We were given a room in the back of the building with no view. Parking was in a parking garage up the street which we paid an additional fee for.

Property is very well maintained, our room was wonderful. Everything was excellent. The public transport water bus terminal was next to the hotel which was a bonus and easy and fun to get to the city center

The facilities were fantastic. The room was spacious enough, and the staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. Those aspects definitely made the experience much more enjoyable.
There weren’t necessarily problems with the hotel itself, but rather with aspects that affected the overall experience.
I didn’t love the location. The view is fantastic, but getting there can be a bit complicated. If you enjoy walking like I do, it may become frustrating trying to get around on foot. I tried walking to Södermalm, which is technically nearby, but crossing the bridge felt like a challenge every time.
I also visited the Vana Spa and personally found it overpriced. The Duo Treatment was definitely not worth the price in my opinion — it felt like a fairly standard massage. That said, the spa facilities themselves are beautiful. The atmosphere was very calm and quiet, though it seemed to cater more to an older crowd rather than people in their 30s.

Property location was a short uber ride from the Viking cruise port and ferry stop right in front of hotel made it very easy to get around. Room was spacious and breakfast was good with exceptional variety.

- Spider web hanging from the ceiling, stains on the furniture and the bathroom floor
- Bar staff was incompetent and annoying. Made a big deal over a cup of super basic coffee (vanligt bryggkaffe)

The second bedroom they gave us, with views and bigger, was great and the variety at breakfast.
The first room they gave us had tiny windows close to the roof, so you had to climb to a chair to look throughout them.
There was some hair in the bathroom and dust under the bed.

I had paid extra for a larger room but I do remember it wasn't a sea-facing room. But when we got to our room, I believe it was akin to a suite as it had a separated seating area, and we had windows out onto the sea (room 416). So I believe we might have been quietly upgraded which was very pleasing indeed.
Lovely hotel, great staff and lovely food/restuarant.
The only slight issue was that the bar area was being upgraded/refurbished whilst we were there. It didn't upset our stay at all but it would have probably been a nicer atmosphere to have had the bar a little busier with people and enjoying drinks near the bar. All drinks ordered through the restaurant. As I say, it didn't really affect our stay and the rest of the hotel certainly compensated for the bar.

This was a nice hotel away from the city center (which is what we were looking for). A little hard to get there the first time (there are some twists and turns to get there), but it was easy afterward to get to the bus or the ferry. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We also used the spa, and it was very nice. Not crowded. It appears to serve primarily as a conference/event space, so sometimes it will be very busy, and other times quiet.
The room and bathroom could've been cleaner. When I lifted the mattress, there was all sorts of dust and debris underneath. There was no Havre Fras at breakfast, and ketchup wasn't always available. The smoothies were only labeled one of the days we were there, so if you have any allergies, that would be a concern.

The location of the property was nice.
There was an issue with my room’s bath not working. In brought this to the attention of the staff twice. They never fixed the issue, apologized for the inconvenience or offer any type of alternative. The main reason I looked the room I did was because of the big soaking bath.
