Very kind people with excellent recomendations for what museums you shouldnt miss and great places to eat at a very good price. Also excellent location for a first timer in the city, in the heart of it all.

The room was basic but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the location is right in the city centre, which was very convenient. We had a pleasant stay and really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the convenient central location. We would definitely stay here again.
The main thing I would improve is the noise. The sound from the door locks of the different rooms, as well as the bathrooms and showers, could be heard quite clearly. There was also quite a lot of noise coming from the street, and unfortunately, the noise woke us up during the night.

The staff were amazing, super kind and helpful. I was worried about security, but there was a locker in my room, a luggage room, and proper safes if you wanted for valuables in the luggage room. The kitchen was great and so were the bathrooms.
It is a hostel, so if you book a shared room that means you share haha. The only thing I would have wanted is paper towel to dry your hands in the bathroom!

The location is excellent. You can explore Gamla Stan as soon as you wake up before the first waves of tourists. So if you're interested in being in the city center, like right in the middle, it's perfect for you. The staff are really nice and the hostel is fairly small (arround 20 rooms all in all). It's comfortable and clean, in short an excellent place to sleep.
It's expensive, but again expensive is relative because it's really the absolute city center and it's Sweden, which is quite expensive in general. There is almost zero social life (I was there during midsommar). There is a small common space and shared kitchen but this is not a social hostel, it's really just a nice place to sleep. There are a few nice cosy benches and tables for up to 8-10 people in one limited social area. For me that was absolutely fine because I expected it but keep it in mind if you want a very social environment, you will not find it here. If you choose this hostel, choose it for the location, quiet and comfort.
