Excellent cosmopolitan hotel right in the center of the main shopping area and near the port for sea excursions.
Despite saying it the hotel does not really do car parking, it just knows where a nearby car park is. It does not do room service either - even though its website says it does.

The interior design is truly beautiful and unique – the entire place feels very artistic and thoughtfully curated. Rooms very clean. The hotel is perfectly situated, with excellent access to public transportation. There is a jazz club on saturdays in this hotel, wonderful experience. I would definitely choose this hotel for another time in Stockholm.

inwas there for one night but a great range of breakfast even a bit of vegan things thats great . The room was lovely and the location perfect for a short stay . right in the heart and close to many things

I stayed at Hotel Kung Carl in Stockholm in January. I was traveling alone and was given a single room with no heating. Considering the winter weather and snow outside, this was quite uncomfortable.
After reporting the issue, the staff provided a portable heater. Unfortunately, it was noisy, vibrated constantly, and initially blew cold air. I was asked to wait for it to warm up, but it never did. Only after this was I moved to another room with proper heating.
The hotel promotes a Belle Époque style, but for a four-star hotel this feels more like outdated interiors rather than historical charm. I will not comment on the rooms décor I saw — perhaps single rooms are not meant to be decorated.
On the positive side, the hotel has an excellent location and very good breakfasts.
Overall, the Belle Époque period for Hotel Kung Carl seems to be over, and proper renovation would be appropriate for a four-star property.
