We arrived in the evening, the hotel does not have its own restaurant, but the receptionist recommended an excellent restaurant nearby, where we had a very good dinner. On the last day, we left our luggage at the hotel and went to explore the city. After returning, we were able to take a free shower before going to the airport. That was very pleasant.

Andrew is the best. When we arrived he welcomed us and told us we got an upgrade in the room. Very big bedroom and super nice bathroom. He helped us with restaurants and finding a car to rent. He even got us a bottle of champagne because it was our anniversary. Amazing host!!!

The people working here are great! The breakfast is very good! The room was big and clean, bathroom the same.
The only problem we had was with the bed. It was kinda hard and the bedsheets werent the best smelling, but other than that everything was perfect for the price we paid!

Beautiful, large rooms with a view of Victoria from the "hilltop". Andrew was an impeccable host, who always answered our questions with a smile on his face. We didn't have a car but found it easy to walk around town and catch the bus to nearby beaches. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Everyone was so friendly.

Location is 5 minutes walking fron city center. They have great breakfast and friendly people working there. Also all the other attractions, beaches and restaurants are close either walking distance or with the car

Extremely helpful staff, very nice breakfast, and fairly convenient location few blocks from the centre of Victoria.
The room was large and well kept but could have had a few more pieces of furniture, like a couple of chairs. The warm water didnt really work, but that was a non-issue considering the climate.

Hilltop was an excellent choice for us to explore Seychelles. It was centrally located and meant a short walk into town and was conveniently next to the Marie Antoinette Restaurant. Check in went smoothly once we found the reception (it's down the drive, not inside as the sign outside points to) and our room was nicely appointed with a large bed (King size, I think). Now, I like a firm mattress and that's exactly what we had. You could bounce a coin off it no problem. If you like mushy, soft beds, this hotel may not be for you. The room had a mini-fridge which we used to keep water bottles cold. The room also had a chair, desk and armoire. The bathroom was big, with a large walk-in shower. The room also had a juliette balcony. I don't really understand the point of these, but it was nice nonetheless. As a nice touch we had a view overlooking the city and water. It was really great to see the fruit bats flying around in the late afternoons and to check on the giant tortoises that live behind the Marie Antoinette restaurant. The breakfast was wonderful, served by a wonderful staff, with a freshly prepared fruit salad to start (bananas, coconut, pinapple amongst other things), followed by eggs made to order. Alongside these, breakfast came with coconut cake and banana bread as well as some crepes with some sauces. A fresh juice was served as well as coffee or tea. I saw some cereal on the bar but I didn't have any.
The A/C unit works and is quiet, but took a long time (nearly a full day) to cool down the room and sucked every speck of moisture from the air. To give context it was about 28c both days, 70% humidity or so. I woke up both nights needing to hydrate! But hey, I would've hated the alternative of having no A/C. If I had to be nit-picky I thought the TV in the room could be about 50% larger as well. The keen readers among you will notice other reviews speak about the hotel being on a steep hill and that some have complained about the schlep up. Honestly, it's fine. Yes, it's a steep hill, but there's a railing if you need support and it didn't bother us to walk up and down it. No one fell. It'll be ok. You can do it!

For our afterhours check-in late at night there was no room key in the 'safe'. A driver took it to the airport, but we never ordered a shuttle and only requested the shuttle price.
