Poor
I like the location. The staff attend to our request promptly mainly Philip. He was so helpful. He offered us a compliment due to the complain we raised on the air condition that doesnt work during this very hot day. The receptionist is so helpful and the securities. I like the entertainment - the dancers during the buffet night.
Our first impression was not good - AC not working, we had to change to another room. The shower head is not working well then it came off and they changed it the following days, They fixed our clothes rag the other day so that was good. I didnt like how the pool was open to public. They spit into the pool and the pool is dirty. In-house guests could not use the pool after a long day so thats really bad. Too much druncken people shouting and fighting. The accomodation and food is expensive, but the service received does not meet the value of the cost which is very bad. The property needs to be cleaned. Need to use a water blaster to shoot the dirts off the stairs. Needs to improve the cleanliness. Someone walked into our room then walked out again because we were inside. Happened twice.

Very Poor
No breakfast. When you pay $220 per night and there's no breakfast then it's very below standard compared with other hotels. NO hot water even though it was reported every day and was told they would have it fixed.
EVERYTHING.....Do NOT stay here. $650+ for three nights and there's NOT one drop of hot water

Very Good
The decor is wildly original, and we appreciated the opportunity to meet with the 82-year-old developer/owner of the property (and much of its art work), Sir Tommy Chan. The hotel is outside the center of town but it's just a short ride in a taxi, which we found easy to catch. We also appreciated the staff helping us to organize activities during two of our days in town. Although the hotel is somewhat faded, our room was impeccably clean.
The property is really large, and the maintenance could be better. It feels like the hotel once saw more prosperous days. Breakfast was not included as an option, but the pricing was reasonable.

Exceptional
Very friendly staff and Sir Thomas is such hospitable and generous man. Massage with Grace is excellent. Pork belly at the Oasis restaurant is perfect, crispy and yummy

Pleasant
The staff are nice and the hotel has pretty good food and pool, and an outdated ambience which has its charm.
Generally a bit run down and dated, and expensive for what it is. Rooms are clean but need updating.

Wonderful
A very unique hotel with quirky artwork and jungle landscaping. The staff was exceptional. Two grear restaurants on the property. The a/c in my room worked great.
The internet was frustrating until i got on the correct one of multiple networks at the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very tired and run down - the bed was terrible and there was loud music playing on and off all night. Security was poor.
