Only location is good and the reception Saudi lady was professional and supportive
The hotel had a strong seafood odor that was very unpleasant.
It is extremely outdated and poorly maintained.
I saw guests changing their clothes and opening their luggage in the corridor, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate.
The bathroom was in terrible condition and very old, and the toilet seat was extremely old and not clean.
Although the location is excellent, you will end up paying a high price for little more than the location itself.

Close to haram.
The 5:00 PM check-in time made our stay extremely challenging, especially after a long and tiring journey. We arrived around 12:00 PM, hoping for some flexibility, particularly since we were traveling with family and everyone was exhausted.
What made the situation more frustrating was that I made multiple phone calls a day in advance to inform the property about our early arrival and to request that the room be kept ready if possible. Unfortunately, none of the calls were answered, despite repeated attempts. I also sent an email, but received no response at all.
As a result, we were left waiting until after 5:00 PM to check in, which was very hectic and physically draining for my family. Better communication and a more accommodating approach—especially when guests proactively inform about early arrival—would have made a significant difference to our experience.

I would like to raise a complaint through my American Express card to get my money refunded. Certainly I will raise its a dispute which will block the payment.

For some reason in KSA the check in time is at 6pm. While international standard is 2pm. Please change this.

IT WAS MY WORST EXPERIENCE AT MIRAGE AL-SALAM, I stayed at room number 1010, the toilet was so smelly, as soon as we entered the room we were shocked with the smell, and the concierge advised us because the room was closed it was smelly and it will go once we open the fan, within a day the smell got worser, the maintenance team member advised the fan was centralised, and he will contact the cleaners to clean the toilet, so we were happy that the toilet smell will be gone, BUT IT DIDN'T GO. I had to close the drainage with plastic bags to reduce the smell. I bought air freshener, but it did not help. I left it for their next victim clients who will stay at that room.
We had to open the window and to moderate the smell, which means even we did not enjoy the cool weather by using the AC. My family were so discussed from the smell and the room, so they had to use the Masjid Al-nabawi and next doors hotels WCs.
The strong toilet smell made us sick, we had eyes, nose, and throat rush, my wife and I had ammonia poising due to the strong smell of the toilet and we were vomiting in our last day staying there.

The location is very close to Gate-316 and basement car parking 5A.
Room size is too small and becomes congested with our luggage and stuff. Electrical power plug available only one which is not enough at all. Breakfast menu is very simple and not much in variant.
