The staff at Heaven are just super incredible and helpful I had many interactions with them and I forget their names now - but each and everyone was 100% on point The Food in Heaven Restaurant was also superb - but very expensive Especially coffee
The city was very full due to may conferences and sporting events taking place, so my regular Hotel was full I travel to Kigali 2 a year - for the last 6 years I found Heaven accommodation (i had eaten there before and loved those experiences)to be so under-rated an poor I was in the Happiness Room 109 at the Villas 1.) The lighting inside the room was really bad - i could not work at the desk at night 2.) The desk was SO small could barely fit my computer and a note pad 3.) The furniture was old and in serious need of repair - the wardrobe had 3 hangers - I had to ask for more - I was a 4 night stay 4.) The shower door was broken and fragile to move making it unpleasant to shower 5.) The window in the shower had no blind or covering and there were workman every day on the floor/level above meaning I had to shower in the dark 6.) NO ventilation in the bathroom - no working vent 7.) The walk up to the restaurant daily - was great in the good weather thankfully - I am 61 years old and fresh from some minor shin surgery so the walk was a bit much twice daily. I feel guests should be informed of this 8.) Room coffee Service - No milk or creamers, Kettle has to be plugged in next to bed 9.) Your website menu and times are a bit outdated - I booked as I was out and about early and needed breakfast around 6.15/6.30 am - Breakfast was far from ready at this time - most mornings I had to ask for everything - Toaster was broken, No egg cups to serve Boiled eggs(came to me in a bowl), Waited for coffee most mornings I tried Room service one day as My shin was taking strain - this came with no condiments, no servient and 2 spoons Transport costs were high compared to other properties

This is a very special place in that it was founded by expats who were investing in the country at the time of its rejuvenation. The investment in the training of the staff is clear, everyone working there were incredibly generous, professional and warm. The spa is also well worth the money.

Hotel location was great. Fairly close to the Kigali convention Centre if you are here for business purposes. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful in sorting out any issues that I came across. Difficult to fault them! The food options at the Heaven Rwanda restaurant is quite extensive (especially during dinner time) and the
Room on the deluxe room was quite basic and outdated. The metallic gate can wake you up at night especially if you are on the ground floor.

The location was good. Access to a gym, nice breakfast.
The room I was given was really tiny. The rooms dont have proper curtains so in a ground floor room I was disturbed my light from the security lights outside streaming in all night through the curtains.
Its also a really buggy location and the room had tons of mosquitos in it.

Good breakfast.
I've stayed at Heaven three times and my experience has gone from bad to worse. My last stay was a disaster with a room much more expensive than the previous ones, but half the size. The staff are nice, but the service doesn't follow. Room service: I asked for a drink, but ended up having to go to the restaurant myself to get what I'd asked for, seeing nothing after an hour. The restaurant: the food was good, but I received the main first, and after finishing everything, the side that was supposed to come with it. Very disappointing when the hotel has so much potential. In short, I make regular stops in Kigali, but I won't be staying here again.
