Very Good
Clean, staff very friendly and helpful, located in a quiet area and overall great service
Walls not sound proof so you can easily hear the outside noise. No elevator so if you’re in the upper floor, you have to deal with the stairs.

I loved how central the location was to shops and fun places to explore, but that it wasn’t in a huge tourist area. When I travel I like to immerse in the local culture, meet people who live in the area, and get a taste for what life is really like for residents of the area. Remera is a safe part of town, close to the stadium, and several restaurants. As a female solo traveler, I was not apprehensive to walk alone at any time, even at dusk. The area surrounding the hotel is breathtakingly gorgeous. I watched the sun set from my balcony every night, relaxing on my comfortable chair, listening to the laughter and music below floating up from the restaurant. The landscape is captivating, with rolling hills and lush greenery. You can see for miles! The property is also tucked away enough that you feel a sense of privacy even though you are close to commerce and residential areas as well as a university. The staff was impeccable with their hospitality - incredibly welcoming, attentive, friendly, and I made quick friends with several employees. The food was delicious, open air restaurant was so relaxing & scenic, prices exceptionally reasonable, and security in the hotel was a top priority for the staff. I also loved the hardcover book about Rwanda that was in my room - I wished I could purchase one to take home with me!! Of special note were Claire, Bonheur, and Ange (food & beverage), Solange (front desk), and Joanna (transportation to/from the hotel). I will hold them in my heart always, they were so kind to me! During my time in Rwanda, I made reservations at a handful of hotels, not knowing what to expect, and Fove to Five was the first… I ended up extending my stay for the duration of my travel and canceled the other reservations. That’s how much I loved ths place!! Thank you, Five to Five - I will be back!
There was not much that I did not like about the property at all. The only somewhat negative thing I could say is that there was construction going on next door during my stay at the hotel, but I think it is to expand and upgrade Five to Five. I didn’t mind and the sounds were only for a few hours during the dayltime when I was typically out exploring. Also, this will not be an ongoing thing so I wasn’t bothered by it.

Hotel Five to Five provided us with a complimentary airport shuttle. For our outgoing flight, we had to be at the airport at 1:30am and they had no problem arranging shuttle transportation at this hour. They were also so gracious as to prepare a breakfast for us to take along with us the morning of our gorilla trek for which our departure was well before standard breakfast hours. All of the staff were professional, friendly, and kind. I feel they went above and beyond given the hours of our arrival and departure.

Disappointing
Picked me up from the airport, which was nice.
I woke up with my legs covered in dozens of bites. Thinking bed bugs. Told staff but seemed indifferent. No where to put luggage. Loud music from across the road. No elevator.

I loved the view, especially at night when you get to see the houses light up at night on the hills.
The staff was friendly and hospitable
Wifi was great, ac was great. Breakfast was good, security is tight.
There is a heavy construction site that started during my stay, they are building a new hotel right in the rear of the hotel. The loud Construction starts everyday at 7am and is unbearable. Even with the most expensive noise cancelling over the ear headphones, I could not sleep past 7am.
The single room is also quite small, the bathroom is small and the door won't stay open unless you jam it. Some things in the hotel require maintenance but you can really blame them as it's a 3 star hotel
