Good
I am really torn about this place - I loved some aspects and didn't like a few others. The view from the property is superb, also the whole garden with trees and flowers is so so beautiful. Food at the restaurant was also quite good. The mattress was comfortable. I like the eco concept with dry toilets and no plastic water bottles.
I wasn't aware that the rooms did not have an en suite bathroom. You have to leave the cabin and walk a couple of steps. I don't know if I just didn't notice that when I made the booking or if it's not clearly indicated. In the evening there was barely any water at all at the sink/shower, slightly better in the morning, but still not very much. This should be fixed for a 65$ room. The cabin is overall very basic. The driveway up to the property is a bit
treacherous and very steep. We barely made it up, but we also arrived during pouring rain.

We loved how close it is to nature — the view is stunning and the interiors are beautifully designed. The atmosphere feels so natural and relaxing. The staff were very helpful, especially the caretakers assigned near our room who were always attentive and kind.
We also loved the common area in the middle of the property, which has a nice seating space. My daughter really enjoyed the toys and activity games available for free use.
The bathroom, particularly the toilet area, is quite outdated. For me, it feels unhygienic since its design as old and also no bidet for washing. It also had an unpleasant smell, likely because of its condition.

Nice location, beautiful garden, great restaurant. Overall very well kept place.

Waking up in the morning, opening my tent door to see the view and listening to the birds and seeing the beautiful garden.
The electricity in my tent didn't work, I informed the staff that it wasn't working and i thought it wasn't actually safe (bits of tape over bare wires) they said it had been fixed but it stopped again so I had no light all night. I don't think this is safe, and if you stay here I could check the wiring, especially anyone who is here with kids.

Exceptionally beautiful garden. Beautiful place. Kids area included a boat, climbing tree, special kids area with card games, colours etc, mini zoo with rabbits, chicken, doves…
Excellent food. The place is like the paradise, like garden Eden.
Electricity was a bit unstable in the room and bathroom.

Absolutely beautiful! The gardens, views, overall aesthetic was wonderful.
Our only complaints were that you only accept cash- a credit card option would have been really helpful and would have allowed us to buy more at the small shop and buy more food and beverages.

We loved the garden, the views, the whole space was amazing. We were able to see Lake Kivu from our tent, the staff was really nice and they treated us very well.
Our favorite thing was the garden, just gorgeous.
The rest of the lodge was reserved by a religious group of people. It was just us and them.
This group overtook the entire restaurant area: so much clutter everywhere, tables and chairs with no one sitting but covered with their stuff and boardgames they used, constant screaming, sermons... We know the problem was them for not respecting the common areas with oher guests, but it's Inzu Lodge responsability to anticipate and prevent these issues.

Superb garden with a view at Lake Kivu. Spacious, stylish and clean room. Small curio shop with good quality souvenirs. Helpful staff. Free purified water, delicious breakfast. Laundry service.
Old matrasses, not really comfy. Bar closes early. Food and bevarages are pricy. Lack of hot water.

Beatiful location, with abundant nature inside the premises. Friendly, professional staff.
Felt like bathrooms need some tlc, silly things that can be easily fixed. Hand soap wasn't topped up at all for the 3 days we stayed. Where our tent was located, we could hear security guards talking at random late hours, and from 7 am lots of movement and talking which woke us up.
