The position at the corner of the main square of the old town (this is absolutely a plus). The room was perfect for repairing and refreshing from the hot weather outside (August), with no need of the air conditioning.
The breakfast served in the room underground (when the hotel has a private space outside that would definitely improve the quality of the staying), the old bathroom and the feeling that the hotel is being slowly abandoned over the time.

We loved our stay here! The location was amazing, we had a great view of the square. It was clean, quiet, and spacious. It was also really cool to experience a property with such a long history. The breakfast was good, the coffee was great.
The bed could have been more comfortable in my opinion, it was pretty firm.

The rooms were large and pleasant. Bathroom large and clean. Bed was super comfortable, ample space and hangers for clothes etc. Plenty clean towels and toiletries. Typical standard breakfast served next door. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Thought there was air con but didn't seem to be.
