If you are looking for something in the historical area of medieval Sibiu this is a good location
It would have helped if we had more information on how to drop off our luggage and where to park. We ended up getting a ticket because we didn’t know we could drive up this very narrow cobblestone street to drop off and the proprietor had limited English to explain where we could park. She seemed irritated with us and when I showed her a map to show me she didn’t want to be bothered. We ended up parking about a mile away where it’s metered parking and drove the car up the narrow street to get our luggage. Also know that it is only a cash only establishment for everything and breakfast is included but drinks are not. There is a hot pot in the room if you want to make your own in your room. Also if you have physical limitations this place is not for you. We carried our luggage up very narrow stairs. There is no elevator and you are walking on rounded cobblestones in the town as there are no real sidewalks. Breakfast was very good but starts at 9. We were there at 9 and the chef hadn’t arrived yet and said it would be a 1-2 hour. He did arrive and made us a delicious breakfast and gave us a dessert for free for the inconvenience. It is a beautiful place however and if you’re up for that then I would still recommend.

Amazing accommodation right in Sighisoara Citadel. Very nice staff and the owner is lovely.
Breakfast is delicious and prepared by the owner, with homemade and local sourced products like jam, eggs, zacusca etc.
The hotel is very authentic and in a historic building.
All in all an amazing place to stay. Highly recommended.

The place is adorable! The host is very kind and even made us sandwiches for the next day's breakfast since we had to leave early for our tour. It was a perfect place for one evening!
The bed was a little hard for me, but they gave a BIG extra pillow, and using that, it was totally fine. My friend liked the firm mattress though and she thought it was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a beautiful skylight, but the tub with a hand-held shower made it difficult for washing long hair. It wasn't a problem though for only one night. I just wanted to let people know.

Fun small guesthouse over a cafe decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques, artwork, and knickknacks my grandmother would have loved. The deluxe family room was spacious and comfortable, with plush bedding and ample seating. Breakfast on the terrace was good, and the staff were super. Great location - a 5 minute walk to parking, the square and restaurants but on a small, quiet street. Bonus was the twilight views of the clocktower.
Only issues we had were that they are a cash-only establishment, even if you book online (there are banks with reliable ATMs within a 7 minute walk) and the room was not ready until after 6 pm - it seems like they forgot about our booking. I would stay again, but call a day in advance just to confirm.

The host was just lovely. The room was great, just like in the pictures, nice experience that you should book. It is located in the heart of the old town and you can explore many things around. The restaurant of the hotel, which was the terrace on the opposite of the house/hotel was just exquisite, no other words, food was freshly made on the spot with preparation time noted on the menu, great atmosphere and decor as well. The place it pet friendly.
There was nothing I did not like to be honest except maybe that there was no parking on the site, but we still managed to find a cheap parking nearby only 6 minutes away.

I have stayed in 50+ hotels the last 10 weeks. This is probably the best one. It sits quite high on the already hilly old town of the fairy tale town av sighisoara. The owner is cool and sweet. She will help you with every possible enquiry.
So host and location is top class.
Now, the rooms. Sometimes you come across someone who cares. Who seems more interested in fulfilling a vision and passion, rather than just squeezing out as much money as possible. The bed is for princesses and princes. Incredible. The quality and charm of the decor is to die for. The bathroom is a spacious and bathtub such a lovely bonus. Fridge works great, with a top drawer freezer compartment.
The bar is just downstairs with a great menu for salads and omelette etc. And coffee drinks and cocktails. All you need!
Staying here will be an experience In itself. I really recommend it with utmost sincerity.

The room is like you are divining in those old palaces. It is elaborate and nicely done. The bathroom is modern and the bed is very comfortable. Location is next to the clock tower. It is advisable to take a taxi if you arrive by train. Delicious breakfast with home made bread and jam.
The only drawback was that coffee wasn't served with breakfast. You had to pay for it. However the price is a deal so it's alright to pay for the coffee to be able to stay in the beautiful room.

It was a really special experience to stay here. It is a historical building and beautiful on the inside. The host was so kind to adjust the check-in time and breakfast time for me. A very friendly cat also gave me a morning call.

One of the most amazing, beautiful, and enchanting places I've stayed at while in Romania.The attention to detail in the room was outstanding. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Overall this was one of the best experiences, and the breakfast was delicious. Sighisoara is a magical city and there are plenty of fantastic and historical places to visit. It made my visit better by staying at this beautiful apartment.

Casa Cositarului is not an accommodation, but a museum, a museum dedicated to the beautiful decorative style of this Romanian region, where the owner of this place has spared no effort to create a hotel, which according to me is the best in Sighisoara.
There are places that you are fortunate to spend a few night that stay with you for the rest of your life. Casa Cositarului is such a place, it’s a whole experience , not an indifferent place to rest as a traveller. The owner was blessed with the gift of cooking as well( she spreads out the most delicious breakfast, cooked with local produce and love. A warm and friendly lady that takes pride in everything she does , either receiving guests at the hotel or managing the restaurant across the street. At the moment the hotel has this fantastic offers for single travellers as well.
Book a room at Casa Cositorarului and you will travel in time, guided by your host. An extraordinary experience, never to be forgotten, or even possibly equalled.
