The location of the property is the key selling point . Another feature of the hotel is its beach . They have a nice beach .
The property is run down and not taken care of well. The outdoor bathrooms are exceptionally dirty and no cleaning happens during the day no matter how dirty it is. The rooms smell of mold and the shower knob came out while showering. The pool attendants are nowhere to be seen and no proper supervision on any of the facilities regarding pool safety , hygiene etc. I was looking forward to the stay as it was a special occasion but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. In comparison to other
Star hotel there is no comparison !!!

There are different areas to sit and relax. The room design is unique and so is the interior of the hotel. All the staff were helpful starting from Mr Abdulrahim at the reception who was very welcoming and gave us a really nice room with an amazing view up to the very friendly chefs, waiters and doormen who were always asking if we needed anything. The beach is really nice and so are the swimming pools. It was a wonderful stay and will definitely go bag again for a longer one.

I had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Grand Doha. The beachfront location is exceptional, and I truly enjoyed the sea view from my balcony. The food across the restaurants was excellent, and they serve the best Umm Ali I’ve ever tried.
The staff are among the best I’ve experienced, genuinely warm, professional, and attentive. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the quality of the towels and linens felt luxurious.
The hotel has a strong classic character. At times, I honestly felt like a rich man from the 80’s in the best way possible. The décor may not suit everyone, but it feels authentically historical and beautifully represents the aesthetics and hospitality of that era in the GCC region.
Due to the hotel’s age, the rooms lack some modern technology features.

We had booked Salwa Ballroom for my sister’s wedding in June, and naturally expected that rooms for the bride’s and groom’s families would be secured. However, two months later, we were shocked to find that all rooms were sold out on every platform, which should not have happened. We had no option but to book a suite at double the price, and even then, the suite we received at check-in was different from the one we originally reserved.
Additionally, the bride was given the farthest and worst room for her preparation, despite the hallway being full of male UFC trainees—completely inappropriate for a bride getting ready. To make matters worse, there were one other bride staying in the same corridor on the same day, which made the situation even more unacceptable.
The bride and groom’s suite was also in very poor condition, which is shocking for a hotel of Sheraton’s status.

The hotel itself was beautiful — great facilities, comfortable rooms, and a nice atmosphere. ?
However, two mistakes occurred during my stay.?
First, I asked where breakfast was served and was told to go downstairs. After eating, I was unexpectedly charged extra, although my booking included breakfast. The staff later apologized and corrected the issue.
Second, although I informed the hotel in advance that I would arrive late from the airport, they assumed we had dinner there that night, which caused some confusion.
Both issues were eventually resolved, but it caused unnecessary stress and time loss.
Overall, still a nice hotel with room for improvement in guest communication. ✨

We just came back from the most wonderful stay at Sheraton Doha, and I honestly can’t say enough good things. We’ve stayed in some of the best hotels around the world, but this one truly stands above all expectations.
From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The service everywhere — in the restaurant, housekeeping, and especially the Club Lounge — was outstanding. The food in the lounge was delicious, but what really made it special were the people. The staff there were so kind, genuine, and friendly — they made us feel like family. Huge thanks to Hazal, Key, Qayyum, Shomitiri, Mouran, and Gita — you are all amazing!
Housekeeping was also fantastic. Our room was always spotless, and they surprised us every day with creative towel figures — such a lovely touch. A special thanks to Prem for that!
It was also my daughter’s 21st birthday, and the way the team celebrated with us was just beautiful — a cake and singing in our room, and then drinks and celebration in the lounge. It was so thoughtful and truly unforgettable.
Even by the pool, the staff were always there to help with towels, chairs, and anything we needed — always with a smile.
The hotel itself is stunning — stylish, clean, and perfectly maintained — but what really makes Sheraton Doha so special is the people who work there. Their warmth, honesty, and genuine care made our stay something we’ll always remember.
We will definitely be back soon. Thank you all for making our holiday the best ever! ?
