Very good breakfasts, connection to the Mall, nice swimming pool outside.
We stayed as a family with 3 children and our elderly grandmother, expecting the usual JW Marriott standard. Unfortunately, this stay turned into a complete disaster. Our room on the 7th floor was directly above the Amaru nightclub, with extremely loud music every night — not only on New Year’s Eve, as we were told. The noise, especially during live performances, felt like someone was yelling in our room. After a long flight from South Africa, none of us could sleep. Earplugs and pillows over our ears did not help.
We complained 3 times. Although the staff apologized and sent some sweets, nothing was actually done until we filed a formal complaint with hotel and Marriott management. Only then were we relocated — and in a way that made us feel as if we were just trying to get a “better” room, which was not true, as our original room was better in quality. We were also told that the music was only played on New Year’s Eve, which was simply not true.
The new rooms on the 40th floor had a very strong tobacco smell (despite being non-smoking), so intense that it caused nausea at night. While the nightclub noise was less noticeable on the 40th floor, it was still audible — which says a lot about the volume level on the 7th floor.
We came expecting the high standard of service we have always experienced at JW Marriott properties around the world. But this experience was far below JW Marriott standards. The hotel needs to decide whether it is a luxury hotel or a nightclub — and guests should be clearly warned about the noise. We were honestly very relieved to leave.

Excellent location in West Bay, directly connected to City Center Mall. The rooms are spacious with stunning views, and the breakfast buffet is exceptional. Special thanks to the professional and friendly staff for their great hospitality.

Room was very comfortable and laid out. Everything was there are easy to use. It was high enough to be away from traffic and other noise, although there was some bar noise from downstairs before midnight.
The breakfast and dining options were very good. Friendly service, great choices.
Having a general waste bin (not recycling) in the main room, as well as thye bathroom.

The staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond my expectations. Their professionalism and warmth truly elevated my stay. Breakfast was exceptional, with great variety and quality. Overall, the service was superb. This is genuinely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional experience.

JW Marriott Marquis never disappoints with the breakfast selection, and Doha was no different! We had a wonderful stay and were well fueled to explore the city. The hotel is well situated in close proximity to all of Doha's attractions.

The room was slightly dated and showed signs of heavy wear and tear. But it was very comfortable and well appointed.

Had a great stay at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha. Everything was excellent the room was spacious and comfortable, the service was professional, and the overall experience was very pleasant. The location is a big plus, connected to City Center Mall and close to major attractions. Would definitely recommend.

The welcoming package is as excellent the lady at the reception from one African country next to South Africa I have forgotten her name treated my check in nicely . At the restaurant on the dinner night this two amazing lady one from Philippines her name is Rhea and the other lady who work at the reception of the Fuego restaurant she is also an Asian lady and she is their designer she made our stay and our dinner so amazing and entertaining with the cake present and wonderful cars she present all thanks to JW Marriott, Rhea takes nice pictures and she is so good in it and she thought me how to also do some stuff on my phone while taking pictures this last days of my stay in Doha was absolutely fantastic, I also love the access to the mall directly from the hotel is so amazing and made my stay more stressful . They have loud music playing in their open air club till 12 mid night and it’s so loud that you cannot sleep. They don’t inform customers at the time of booking. For business travelers looking for a quiet night of sleep this is not acceptable and is not the place.

As someone who travels extensively and has experienced numerous hotels around the world, I can confidently say that this particular JW Marriott stands out as one of the best. The reason and highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the incredible staff its just perfectly matched, impossible to assemble a team like this if you want to. From the moment I arrived Mark at the reception was exceptionally welcoming with his warm and professional service. The culinary team was equally impressive, with chefs Isum, Sakib, Tanzil, Halima, Monthes, host Meryem, and a lot others, unfortunately not able to mention all of them, who were not only incredibly talented in cooking but also kind and attentive. Also general manager is going to solve all the issues for your comfortable stay, I just asked for a baby potty, but they didn’t have it, he said they going to figure it out and in an hour they bought and left the new one for me in the room, all these things make a big significant to me. Their dedication and warmth truly set this hotel apart, lots of thanks to the crew of JW Marriott Marquis City CenterDoha, that’s the reason I will certainly come back to this hotel. In short, the outstanding staff and the remarkable hospitality make the JW Marriott Marquis City CenterDoha a top choice for any traveler.

Big layout room, nice and comfortable bathroom, room cleanliness, connection to the Mall and Metro. Excellent breakfast and late check out!! Staff was kind and supportive (especially Giuliana and her colleague at Fuego and Raid at Amaru).
Cigarette smoke smell around all the facility, even in the bedroom. AC too high in all the hotel. Restaurant choices for lunch limited, general low food quality in all the restaurant. No outdoor options available since also in the only outdoor option (Amaru) there was AC. Lounge was old and snacks were limited and only sweet. General hotel facilities seams very old and not renovated, and finally the location is far from the city center with no option of walking outside.
