Location. Comfy beds!
We were initially placed in a smoking room, even though I had clearly booked a non-smoking room. The receptionist told me that rooms are allocated last minute depending on availability, which I find unacceptable given that the booking was already confirmed and paid for.
I had to escalate the issue to the manager and even request a refund to be taken seriously. I was travelling with my 6-year-old child who suffers from asthma, and the two nights we had to stay in the smoking room were a nightmare due to the strong smell of smoke.
Eventually, we were moved to a non-smoking floor, but this should have been arranged from the beginning. Hotels should honor the room type requested at booking, and if they cannot do so, they should not accept the reservation in the first place.

The bed is very comfortable, the hotel is quiet at night you can get a good sleep, location is very accessible and it's so easy to get an Uber here, it is easy to go to souq waqef area and the opposite site the pearl, I think the hotel is in the middle of all the nice areas
The lady at the reception was super nice I forgot her name but she tried her best to check me in fast although my room was not ready, I waited for a long time and then I think the manager upgraded my room type, I appreciate his gesture, but I booked a sea view room and I asked for a higher floor if possible, he instead put me in the 5th floor and kept saying it's an upgraded room type, I wish if he paid more attention to my wishes instead, as I didn't mind the room size and all I cared about is to be on a high floor and have a sea view, he kept saying I will see the sea from my room it's a Panaromic view, but when I went to the room all I can see is the large street with cars and the car parking, I really appreciate the room upgrade but it would've been nicer to pay more attention and put me in a sea view room like I booked.

Location is good with inbuilt facilities but lack the support team for services .
Paid in morning at reception and asked for extra bed: did not receive extra bed until late 11 pm in spite of reminders ! Asked reception to show another room (we booked suite No.1718) but nobody came ! This is how you give services at a Suite ?
