The staff was good. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my time there.
There were a few issues that significantly affected my experience. The main problem was the amount of dust in the room. The desk I was using would accumulate dust daily—to the point where it was covering my laptop, and I had to clean it every day. This also caused me to develop allergies. I suspect the dust may have been coming from the AC or that the room itself was not properly maintained. Additionally, when I changed rooms, I was placed in a smoking room. Although I asked not to have smoking room, the smell of smoke was very strong and noticeable throughout the night. This may also be related to the AC system or poor ventilation. These issues made my stay uncomfortable and impacted my health. After moving to another hotel, my allergies went away, which suggests the environment was the cause.

Breakfast was nuce, could be better for Movenpick! 90% of buffet was same everyday for 8 days of my stay. Rooms' furnitures are old, but cosy with warm color. They upgraded my room as the first one was so bad, very bad view and small
They definitely have mold in the building, i coukd smell it when AC was on and also I noticed mold in the toilet. The carpet was so dirty, staff wanted to help but bad attitude, no sense of hospitality. Spevially a lady in reception, called Jene or i dont know

This question I answered in my last stay but no feedback or replies received, but repeating again. I could not connect WiFi to the smart TV which is essential for modern day’s hotel stay. Hope the management will look into it.

My decision to stay at Mövenpick Hotel Doha was influenced by the wonderful experience I previously had at Mövenpick Hotel Dubai. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the expectations I associate with the Mövenpick brand. Upon arrival, the reception staff’s approach felt rather unwelcoming. A warm greeting and a friendly smile can make a significant difference in creating a positive first impression, which I felt was lacking. I had specifically requested a room with a city view and was informed that this would be arranged. However, I was assigned Room 103, which did not offer any view. Interestingly, during my visit to the hotel bar later that evening, the staff there were very welcoming and courteous, highlighting a noticeable contrast in hospitality. Regarding room cleanliness and condition, while the toilet appeared clean, the floor was sticky. The towels looked old, and the furniture showed visible signs of wear and scratches. Additionally, there was dust accumulation around the window frame, observing that certain areas had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time. On my second night, from approximately 3:00 AM until checkout at 6:00 AM, there was loud noise coming from Room 110. Unfortunately, no hotel staff seemed to address the disturbance, which significantly affected residences rest.
