Wonderful
Perfect luxury getaway. Has all the amenities and very friendly and helpful staff. Customer service is clearly a priority!
The ferry times in the evening were a bit limited. The diving department was closed.

The private swimming pool was nice. Breakfast had variety. bathrooms were spacious. The spa has a lot of services and it has a nice sea view.
The golf car driver takes too long to arrive to the villa.

The dinner in Alnahom restaurant not good and property didnt inform that half board will include a specific item from the menu.
We saw impolite behavior from some visitors which contradict our traditions

Wonderful
The room is really well designed, particularly I liked the bathroom (amazing shower). The staff is also ver kind and provides top service. The food is fantastic. The Arabic restaurant (Al Nahham) is one of the best restaurants we have had at any hotel.
There is a loud noise of air-conditioning or water pumps on top of the room buildings (this seems not to be the case for villas), so you get this humming noise in your room, depending in which you stay in. In our case it was not the worst, but it definitely was there, and you would not expect this in such a luxury resort. The main pool is ok, could be larger or better designed (like infinity pools or more natural looking, like in other luxury resorts), here it is just a square pool and can get crowded. The lagoons compensate for this but they are not deep, so you cannot swim in them. The beach is lovely but we could not use it since it seems it was jellyfish season.

The pool, although the jacuzzi feature did not work properly.
- broken locks on bathroom door
- dirty water running from bathroom tap, appeared to be brown/orange in colour which in itself is a health and safety hazard
- tv was not working
- everything on the island closes early, so there is not much to do
- food was substandard, we ate at the QLounge. The staff was also quite slow in preparing this.
- there was an issue where the power/lights to the villa kept turning off
- we went for a walk and took our key cards but upon return could not get back into the villa. We had to wait over 15 mins for someone to come and open the door. At which point we were given two new key cards, one of which did not work
- we were told prior to our stay (via booking.com) and on the day we arrived by the staff on the island that a boat was due to leave at 12.30 which left us sufficient time to catch our flight. However, on the day, we were then told that the boat was due to leave at 1pm to go back to the mainland which meant that we were rushing to catch our flight
- when voicing this to the staff, they said theyd offer us a free lunch but know that we are leaving. On email, the staff claimed that they had offered us a complimentary taxi, which upon further communication they backtracked and said that they were wrong. When we had mentioned the above issues to the night manager, he told us to please not leave any negative reviews but did absolutely nothing to resolve our concerns.

Disappointing
The location was good but the service level was not up to the expectations. Malai
I had booked this property on the occasion of my wife birthday and booked half board package. The food what was served to us was dissatisfied from the starter to dessert in Q lounge. In the starter the seekh kebab had a smell and murg malai tikka was very basic flavor. In main course chicken tikka biryani was tasting sour and same we have return back. In the dessert the chocolate lava cake was burnt and bitter taste same was rerun back. All this issues was shared with restaurant team and also with duty manager tawfiq. Tawfiq said that he will check and get back to me on 07/10/23 morning but till now no update.

Incredible service and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn't do more to make our stay just perfect. We celebrated my husbands milestone birthday with our family and it'll certainly be one we never forget! Huge thanks esp to Muthu our personal liason who made every inch of our stay just amazing and so comfortable.
