We had a very good stay. The ambience was charming with a beautiful antique vibe throughout the place and décor, which gave it a special character. The staff was courteous and attentive. Breakfast was ready on time every morning, with eggs freshly cooked to order. I also loved that clean, dry towels were provided daily. The surroundings were quiet and secure, and it was so nice to wake up to the sound of birds in the morning.
The location was also convenient — a mini market, shopping mall, restaurants, and a supermarket were all within walking distance (about 5–20 minutes).
The only downside was that the room had a bit of a humid smell.

The staff were wonderful (speaking English a nice bonus) and a lovely property (very secure) - with a nice pool and good breakfast. Rooms were big, comfortable and had everything needed (including a good little kitchen). Some restaurants and a good supermarket, very close by.
I liked the location but not close (walkable) to most things want to see/go to but Uber is so cheap, it's not really an issue. The internet could struggle in the rooms but walk up to the house/reception and perfect.

Location is unbeatable - in a great (and safe) part of town, yet very quiet, with several good pizza places and cafe/restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
Having the pool (literally) outside your door is obviously fantastic!
Breakfast included a very wide selection: omelette or scrambled eggs, and the usual selection of toast, ham, cheese, fresh fruit cocktail, croissants and other cakes, and water, juice, tea and coffee.
Our room, No. 4, was very large (King bed), comfortable with a great shower, and also had a small kitchenette with a microwave and a mini-bar stocked with beer and water.
Although we didn't use them, the hotel had a small bar, a small gym and two beautiful sittings rooms, full of art and the owners antiques and memorabilia, obviously collected over many years.

This property harkens back to a time when people valued opulence in a hotel. When I first walked into the lobby, I was very impressed with all the antique furniture and souvenirs that were on display. The rooms were also well decorated and I honestly felt like I was getting a luxury rental at an economy price.
Well, the gym was a little lackluster, but it's exactly what the photos reveal. The single weight machine they had was usable and I got a decent workout from it. The treadmill was functional but for some reason they only want you to walk on it. (???)
