Staff were so helpful and friendly! Great communication and smooth checkin process. Excellent location — walking distance to many major sights. Spacious apartment with all the amenities as advertised. Pretty garden area in quiet patio area. I had a lovely stay.

The hostel is near downtown. There’s a supermarket very close. The host gave me information and told me where not to go, which is great when you don’t know the city

Stayed on a long flight layover and the owners kindly accommodated an early check in. This was slightly offset by unexpectedly having to find local currency to pay - this was quite expensive and a little stressful, particularly in the heat

The friendliness of the owners was touching.
On the day of departure, the lady of the house came at 6 am to call a taxi for us and make sure we were fine.

The warm welcome and hospitality of the owners.
I arrived earlier before check in and they made it possible for me to get some rest.
There is everything in the room if you want to have tea, coffee and even if you want to cook.

I was apprehensive about staying in downtown but I felt really safe there. Also, the hostess was super kind and rushed to the property to let me in much earlier than when I said I would arrive! The price is a bargain!

Very friendly hosts, who gave us tips regarding arrival and departure, as well as restaurants, ATMs, security, etc. (very responsive on WhatsApp). Located in the historic center, close to Plaza Uruguay and a large supermarket. Comfortable beds!
The accommodation is located in an old building. This is absolutely fine if you need a comfortable, well-located place to stay but keep this in mind if this does not meet your needs.

To stay with Gabriela was the best decision! She is very friendly, gave us lots of information about the city, organised cheap taxi, answered to WhatsApp questions in minutes. Her house is very good located, you can walk to park, mercado 4, historic centre easily. Supermarket is just around the corner, also lots of food options. Room with fan and aircon, kitchenette and private bathroom - all clean and shiny!!Would always come back!!

Lovely large room with ample facilities for self catering. Large bathroom. Within walking distance of many tourist sights and of the river. Banks and supermarkets just a few minutes walk away.

The room has small kitchen with kettle and plates to take hot mate-tea!
The shower has hot water.
Also there are super market nearby the building, where we can buy not only food but also daily articles and clothes.
The room has a window but it doesn’t open, so I needed to open the room door to get fresh air, it’s little bit worried about keeping privacy.
I think the towel is old so it had old stain.

The owners of this place are so lovely and helpful! You get your own little apartment for very cheap. Nice big beds, plenty of storage space, a private bathroom, and even a little kitchen corner with a sink and a camping hob to make some eggs or toast in the morning. Amazing location, in the middle of the historic centre which is pretty and calm.
