Authentic feels, great breakfast, nice pool, comfy beds, friendly staff.
The rooms are very outdated with old carpet and showers etc.. for the money they make it’s crazy they haven’t don’t Reno’s. Location was alright. I was not impressed with the cost of my laundry for 1 bag $50 CAN… most expensive laundry I’ve ever done.

Everything. The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was great. The facilities were comfortable and beautiful, like an homage to eighties style.

Big room. Walk in closet. Helpful staff. Excellent continental elaborate breakfast.
On the 2nd stay the bathroom had flying bugs. And the shower knob was stuck to shower. The toilet flush goes for too long, feels like its going to overflow.

The entrance, reception, bar-dining area were stunning and as opulent as shown in the photos. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It was great to have such a large room, but sadly there is a great need for refurbishment in the bedroom, lifts, and corridors.
There was a good shopping centre opposite the hotel but unfortunately the streets were abandoned and it felt uncomfortable walking them.

The front desk staff were very professional, always attentive, and willing to help. Breakfast spread was pretty amazing. Lots of options

This hotel has been Grand once, but is still magnificent. Roomy and rustic. Like this place!

Staff in restaurant needs to be more attentive.

The family suite was perfect for us. It accommodated the whole family with 4 beds. The staff was very nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious. And my kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel is also walking distance to a Biggie Express, so you can buy just about anything you need. I recommend this hotel.
Of no fault to the hotel, everything is closed on the weekend. Our flight landed on a Saturday and we stayed the weekend. Given that the hotel is located in centro, there wasn't much to do.

The breakfast was great! Selection, quality and service are really good. The staff in the reception are very service-minded and some of them speak good English.
Nice overall atmosphere and quite good pool area.
The staff in the restaurant was rude and ignored us on several occasions. We tried to order lunch, but they ignored us, even as we tried to talk to them. The day before we tried to order something to drink to the pool area and they just showed us off with hand gestures.
Later we saw other people being served in the pool area. Seems like the discriminate against us for.being English speaking, even though we tried our basic spanish in combination with Google translate.
