The deluxe suite room was spacious and comfortable, with a good selection at breakfast and good options for a lazy lunch in the hotel restaurants.
Unfortunately, the hotel is situated beside a building site. We had a hot tub on the balcony of our room. The timings were strange with it turning back on at midnight until 4 a.m., which disturbed our sleep. Our room was on the top floor and on the same level as the rooftop bar, which meant we could hear the music from the bar in the evening and people leaving the bar.

The hotel and staff were brilliant. We especially liked the pool where it was easy to get a lounger in April and the breakfast was superb, they even had a pianist.
The door into the room was very heavy, possibly the door closer was broken.

Great location just 5 mins walk to main streets of Tavira. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is super with lots on the menu. Rooms clean and very comfortable

The little extra touches that we didn't expect, such as a glass of wine on arrival and a flower at breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and this hotel stands out for having proper coffee, not the horrible capsule or cheap machine coffee.

The room was spacious and the breakfast had a good selection. The beds are extremely comfortable. Good shower. Only a short walk down the hill to the town with plenty of bars and restaurants. A lovely pool area.
Having stayed here before, we thought we knew what to expect but since our last stay the hotel seems to have some maintenance issues. Some residual damp marks beside the bed, black mould around the windows and the patio doors had a large gap which meant it was very noisy (particularly sInce there are ground works happening nearby and the rail tracks are close by). Bizarrely the door stop for the bathroom door is placed right in front of the toilet, so every time you go to the toilet you risk stubbing your toes!!

Reception staff poor, saw them being disrespectful to other guests on 2 occasions, staff in general did not seem happy working there. Breakfast also very average and cannot fathom why you would dump pastries in a bowl so they lost crispiness? Went to breakfast early one morning and it seemed like stale croissants from the previous day had been served. Fruit ok. Also bathroom floor falling apart and sink blocked. We were served a very bland tasteless cheese toasta by the pool and charged 9. No olive oil or seasoning as you would get in any other Portuguese bar for half the price

Nice dcor, clean and spacious room, good location, roof top bar amazing, staff really friendly. Piano at breakfast is lovely.
Cleanliness in spa area could be better - needs a deep clean. Breakfast was good but would be 10x better if they had nice fresh juices and a better standard of pastries. Simple changes would make a big difference.

Check in was simplified and the receptionist gave us a quick overview of the surroundings. Very clean Room on the 4th Floor had an excellent view from the balcony and daily service punctual. Breakfast surpassed our expectations with varied choices including a sous chef who provided you with choice eggs. Inside pool and sauna were a delight. Excellent value.

Cleanliness of room ( underbed very dirty!) Skirting boards dirty. Hardly any tea coffee & not stocked up daily. Towels not left tidy. Pillows far too soft! Cleaner left trolley in the way so couldn't pass. Small Swimming pool not clean.

We were given a free upgrade to a superior suite. Wine on arrival. Complimentary bottle of wine in the room.Large, stylish soundproof room. Comfortable bed. Big terrace with great views over the town to the sea.
Good breakfast. Very helpful, friendly staff. Convient location. Ample free parking.
Many groups of golfers who were rather loud.

Breakfast on second day - first day cold. Excellent staff
No Make-Up Mirror, no light to see non existent mirror, En-suit mirror loose, No Light, 13 light switches (not all Work) - need a map - spent many hours walking around room finding right switch, all lighting is concealed - very nice unless you want to see something, Cupboard doors need buffers - you can hear when occupants of other rooms close doors including main door. Noisy, you can listen to all conversations in passage ways - not good at 2:00am. Shower drain blocked. Balcony dirty, building site problem but occasional clean would useful (light and cloths rack).
