Disappointing
outdoor sitting area overlooking the city.
The property is dying, structurally and functionally. Nothing was good about it, the pool was filthy, there is no rule regarding room etiquettes.

Wonderful
The facility is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located close to the city center. The atmosphere is peaceful and provides a great environment to relax, especially with a nice spot to watch the sunrise. The breakfast offers good value for the price, with a balanced selection and enough variety to accommodate different dietary preferences.
I stayed in a shared room where there was only one power outlet available. The extension cords were also quite short, which could make it difficult for guests to charge their electronic devices comfortably. Overall, the bathroom was clean, but some areas and compartments could benefit from more frequent cleaning to maintain a consistently high standard.

I had a 4 bed room on the west side. The room was full of light and with a walkout common balcony. I could see the sunset from my bed. The pool and the garden are fantastic
It was a bit of a walk from the city centre, but the uber is so cheap:)

Didn’t get to try the breakfast, but clean facilities & super kind staff. They let me keep my luggage for free! Pretty empty when I went as well. Beds were very comfortable & the bathrooms were clean & properly stocked with soap.
About an hour walking distance to the beach, but Ubers are very cheap, around 5 euro.

Really great staff! Great value, with the included simple but sufficient breakfast. The place was quiet at night, and it was clean, specially the toilets. Great hot showers!
The room (ceiling, walls, windows) could be cleaner and seemed to have moisture damage, although the beds seemed clean. The location is not the best, and I wouldn't say the safest. The place could also use a touch up, it looks very fun down. There was only 1 plug in an awkward place on the room.

Affordability combined with other travelers who are focused more on traveling and culture and enjoying the surrounding areas. Way different than a backpackers where the emphasis can be on partying and usually alcohol. Though this is a youth hostel, there was quite an even mix of younger people in their 20s and 30s, and older travelers in their 50s and 60s. And all in between. Great location with my rental car. Comfortable bed and very abundant facilities of showers and toilets available. Breakfast was very abundant.

The staff and the room.
The toilet was so dirty. The rooms were OK, but the toilet was terrible. Also super hot, no ar condition in the rooms or common areas.

I stayed for a week for a 3 day business trip at the Portim areana .The accommodation was sufficient nice and quiet with very helpful reception staff.Would stay again but would hire a vehicle to get around as the location is a little out of the way .Snacks or food avaliable afternoons and evenings would be helpful additional bonus.I would stay again nice place

Incredibly nice structure, very big, comfortable, in a nice and quiet location. I had a dormitory room with 4 beds, facing a big terrace. Toilets are big and comfortable, big kitchen a great breakfast

Everything was just fine. According to the price it was very good quality. Those who expect a five star hotel, it's not your place. For the ones who only want a bed to sleep and a shower, it's more than fine. A little bad thing was that when I was there, the water of showers, no matter what you use cold or hot, were hot, too hot I would say. I think it was a failure or something.
