Very Good
Clean nice room with the sea view. Breakfast was very good in the nearby Cafe.
The loud life music started at the midnight. They finished singing between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m.

View of ocean, location, friendly staff, efficient room design, comfy blankets.
Taking luggage up two flights of stairs, TV remote did not work, bed was stiff and bathroom mirror silver was chipped.

The check in girl was the most friendly and accommodating person I have ever dealt with at a hotel ever!!! She went out of her way to do everything she could to make sure we were happy with our stay.
The property is small and does not have the direct ocean front that it appears. It was very nice and the roof top is going to be lovely once it is fixed. It was damaged in a storm. The rooms are on the smaller side but there is a common room to use with a kitchen if you have a group as we did.

The spiral staircase was a challenge for my 78 year old husband to climb with his suitcase.

Great location, nice view, comfortable bed and very nice shower, plenty of hot water. Melissa was wonderful, very helpful with information.
Work was being done on the terrace floor so there was lots of noise/hammering from 9AM to 4:30.

It would be nice if somebody at the front desk to take the luggages especially if you can’t check in early.

Location is great as was the staff and breakfast. Would definitely recommend to others and will be returning to By the Sea when back in Nazaré.

Perfect location. The sea view was beautiful. The breakfast at a bakery nearby was amazing.
Not a huge deal but check-in is only possible at 3pm. If you want to leave your bags in there early you should contact the owner in advance. We didn’t because we didn’t know the reception was locked until check-in time. Just need some planning ahead
