Location. Spacious room. Cozy and comfortable. More like an aparthotel.
The recepcionist wasn't welcoming at chekin. There are no windows in the room what was a bit uncomfortable. No one to help you with your luggage. No waters are offered in the room.

The hotel has an authentic Portugese style with beautiful tile art on the outside of the building. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our suite was spacious with a beautiful view.

I was upgraded to apartment on the last floor, which I appreciate but since I was alone it was not needed. The breakfast is good, location is good - the only thing I was missing is some close convenience store for water or snacks.
I was upgraded to apartment on the last floor, which I appreciate but since I was alone it was not needed. My major problem was with the air conditioner, which was either not working, or when working there was a smell coming out. And it was pretty hot these days - above 30 degrees. Although I asked explicitly on the reception twice to check it, it was never working, when I was coming back in the room. I dont also like having a tub in the bathroom - it is hard to enter under the shower and the tub was not draining the water at best.

Location is ok, not much going on around the area so not much noise. Easy access by car.
Air conditioning is very poor. We had to move rooms twice because the AC simply couldn't bring the room temperature under 30 degrees (and it wasn't even summer). The bathroom would flood every time we used the shower because of bad sealing. Elevators were broken a quarter of the time, wouldn't stop at right floor, at some point we were using stairs to avoid going in the elevators. Hotel bar/restaurant uses disgusting AI pictures to advertise.
All in all, nothing in the hotel justifies the premium that they charge or the four stars they claim to have.

Beautiful, charming hotel with spacious rooms & bathrooms. The staff at reception are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located in a quieter street and is very close to the metro station and good restaurants.
They stored our luggage at no extra cost while we were on a motorbike trip, for which we were extremely grateful. We can confidently recommend this hotel!
