Wonderful
Beautiful old characterful building in a good location, easy walking to sights in all direction and close to a train station too. Bedroom was comfortable and well furnished, I was particularly appreciative of getting new bottles of mineral water ever day. WiFi was great and allowed me to comfortably work at the desk in my room. Great breakfast too.
Nothing really. My only suggestion would be to have a bell or similar at the reception desk for when service is needed

The location is good, within walking distance from the city centre and around 6 tram stops from the congress centre. The courtyard was very nice. Comfortable beds.
The quality of the breakfast was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The room/bathroom was worn. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations for a 4 star hotel with such high rating on booking.

The hotel is well located and the old monastery has a beautiful, unique charm. The staff is very friendly.
Our room was a little dark and the bathroom needed renovation. We could smell an odor coming from the pipes. It is quite expensive for what you get, and the breakfast is basic.

Wonderful
The breakfast was wonderful--lots of selection and options. The location was central enough to walk to almost everything. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I wish breakfast had been included in the accommodation cost. Also, our beautiful room faced a lovely court yard but the down- side was that people gathered there to talk and smoke and we noticed that in our room
even with the windows closed.

Exceptional
It was a wonderful experience which exceeded our expectations. The venue was full of character and nice to see and be in with a nice terrace and separate living room to chill a bit. It was a former old monastery as I understood which has been renovated (and quite well). Best of all was the coziness and atmosphere throughout especially with the very touching high level of service on a personal level that was provided. A little personal breakfast at 5am since our plane left so early was really outstanding.
Perhaps the ability to regulate the temperature in the room a bit better. We managed in the end but it would certainly have helped. Everything else was outstanding for us.

It's a great hotel in a very interesting neighbourhood. The courtyard is a welcome oasis in the middle of the bustling area. . The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. There are a multitude of restaurants within easy walking distance

Location and house itself were amazing! Very charming and authentic. Rooms are beautiful as well, bathrooms modern.
Check-in wasn’t super friendly. It was very cold in our rooms and we got no help from the staff, only the information that there’s no heating (although in the booking description) and we can have blankets. At the end, this was the reason why we left earlier because it was super uncomfortable at night. Then the goodbye was super cold. In my opinion, that’s not how you handle a problem in hospitality service and was a bit sad. In sum, we didn’t feel super welcome.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling neighbourhood. Staff were exceptionally helpful and carried our luggage up and down the three sets of stairs necessary to reach reception. Great restaurants close by. Easy to get to the river bike route.

The rooms are very nice and quite, beds and linned really pleasant (huge plus) - I expected more “boutique” luxury style; rooms on main floor empty/not used and (our stay out of season / Nov, however) some furniture dark/heavy (used too much) - cleaning very - kind staff (many changes even though only there for 3 nights) - location perfect. I think price versus no breakfast and general impression of standard a bit too high

The breakfast and common areas are nice
We booked this hotel since they had listed that the hotel had room service but when we called to order food we were told that all things on the menu were not available, only a sandwich or burger. We could have gotten a much better apartment for the same price, since the food service was not available. When I complained about this to the staff they didn’t offer any compensation, they just blamed it on the company they had outsourced the room service on, as if they had no responsibility.
Our room was decorated with cheap furniture that looked run down and there was a huge spot of black mold on one wall. The big double bed that was listed in the booking turned out to be two twin beds next to eachother, very uncomfortable for a couple with the division in the middle of the bed.

Very nice garden, spacious room (we had room for three adults) comfortable beds and above all the nice personal attitude of the staff. Nice detail: there were blankets as alternative to duvets.
Many stairs to climb to reach our three person room. As there are also stairs to climb outside in order to reach the reception the hotel is not suitable for people who have difficulty in walking.
