Very Good
Good safe neighbourhood, quiet street just off busy Av. De Republica. Easy transport with buses and metro about 200 m from hotel. Lots of eateries for all budgets nearby. Hotel restaurant was reasonably priced , good but only served warm. I had expected the dishes to be served piping hot. We didn’t have the breakfast.
The bathroom glass door was adjacent to the front door. The bathtub/shower only had a small pane of glass instead of a full glass door so the floors get wet . There were no coffee or tea making facilities, although we asked for and got an electric kettle, and there was a coffee machine for capsules in the room. But it would have been nicer if an electric kettle and teacups were already available in the room.

Very Poor
When I made my reservation on Booking, I booked only for 2 adults. At the last minute, we decided to bring our 2 children (a baby under 1 year old and a 4-year-old). I informed the hotel in advance and requested a baby cot and an extra bed. The hotel replied that they had taken note of my request and would do their best, subject to availability.
However, upon arrival, I was told that the standard room could not accommodate 4 people and I had to pay an additional €400 for a suite. I would have appreciated a clear answer beforehand, so I could anticipate such an expense instead of discovering it at check-in.
In addition, I had also requested a bed decoration with flowers to surprise my wife for our wedding anniversary and her birthday. I first made the request for the evening of August 21, but I was told it was not possible. The night staff explained that no one was available. I accepted to postpone it for the next day, August 22.
The next morning, the day manager told me it was complicated because the florist was closed. I even said she could order from anywhere – even if it cost €4000, I was ready to pay. In the end, I was charged €36.50. I asked for the decoration to be ready by 11 a.m., but nothing was done. At 4 p.m., still nothing. Finally, when I returned to the room in the evening, all I found was a small plate of grapes and four orange juices placed on a table.
This hotel does not deserve its 5-star rating, as they could not even manage a simple bed decoration with flowers for such a special occasion. Such a lack of professionalism and attention to guests is unacceptable for a hotel that claims this level of service.

Clean hotel
This is not a five star hotel, I would rate it four at best. Facilities are poor. No iorn or coffee in the room. Spa and pool are unmanned.

Location and it was good value for the 3 nights as it was booked last minute.
Very close to the airport and attractions
Swimming pool was outside and was not heated.
In the room the lighting wasn’t great. Needed more light and more mirrors.
