Very Good
It's now possible to check in on arrival, so no need to wait until a specific time.
They now give a proper Portuguese tax invoice on arrival, if required, so no need to ask for it on departure.
Two improvements since my last visit.
The hotel no longer provides individual bottles of bath gel, only large dispensers over the bath tub, which are not as effective, nor as easy to use. This is of course an economy measure and quite understandable, but it spoils the pleasure of a long soak in the hotel's lovely hot water!

This accommodation was located conveniently next to public transportation (a short walk from the metro) and had all the essentials you would need for an overnight stay. It was also only a short drive from the airport.
As soon as I entered the bathroom for the first time I found hairs from other people in the shower/bath. The shower curtain was old and stained. The hygiene and cleanliness was below standard compared to the multiple other hotels I have stayed at in Europe. The staff were polite but not friendly. There was no kettle or complimentary tea in the room.
