Was clean and comfortable. Good value for money.
Staff was unprofessional, rude and homophobic. They were laughing at me and my partner on the way out. Surely the hotel can get better staff. Apart from that unpleasant experience, the hotel itself was great.

That I got another room after asking the second tome, as the a/c didn’t work and there was a massive water damage on the wall, smell in the room was not pleasant. The second room was ok.
Breakfast variety could be better and there is not enough space in the breakfast room, it was packed every day

Location was fantastic, I just needed a one night stay to go to the airport, and the hotel is a 10 min ride away. the room was quiet, the facilities were clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel is sustainability-friendly, but has many services available on request.
I almost couldn't sleep due to the amount of mosquitoes in the room, which were there before my arrival (I didn't open a window the whole night)

Helpful friendly staff
There were areas where the plastic bath surface had peeled away from the bath leaving unsightly black areas. We stayed during the electricity outage and changing rooms wasn't an option. With a 4 star hotel we would have expected a basic generator to give us some lighting; there was none, nor torches available. With a 4 star hotel, we expected that there would be tea/coffee making facilities - this wasn't available. The windows were filthy - again, at this level of hotel we expected better.
