It was really nice, clean and comfortable tor my whole family.
I mostly liked everything just the fact that the pool hours were only until 8 and we got back to the hotel at 10.

Location is phenomenal. Right near the subway and near the main shopping area. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Room was dated and dirty. Reminded me of an old college dorm room. We had no hot water one day. Musty smell in room. Sofa bed was uncomfortable.

Perfect location. They still do daily room service unlike in the U.S. in most places. Rooftop terrace with amazing views over the city and a swimming pool in the rooftop is unbeatable. This is now my default location to stay if I ever end up in Lisbon again (and I will).

This hotel is located in a beautiful historic building! Our hotel suite was spacious; our bed slept comfortably and we had a nice view of the Restauradores Square, across the street from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide selection of breakfast food

A very good location, clean and friendly staff. Next to train station to Sintra (which has a Starbucks, our start every morning). Next to Metro - Subway station, walking distance to many tourist attractions. Grocery store not too far, where you can also pick up some good low priced wine. Clean room and felt safe at all times. So pleased of our view, facing the front of the hotel, which is the Plaza view, and near by hotels.

during my stay one of the two elevators was not working, that was a bit of inconvenience during crowded hrs. Wifi wasn't the best.

The bed was hard, the toilet seat was stained, and the breakfast started too late. Excursiones start at 8. Breakfast only starts at 7:30 am, and that is not enough time.

The location cannot be beat. It’s on a flat busy street between the very hilly areas of Chiado and Alfama so you can walk to so many things! Also there are numerous bus stops, metro etc basically outside the door. My small room was at the end of a very dark hallway (you have to hit the light switch the hallway lights don’t stay on) and had a big round window looking out to the statue which was a pretty nice view! It was fairly quiet though sometimes loud vehicles could be heard but never too bad. The hotel is definitely in need of updating but I liked the retro vibe and honestly it’s very clean and has everything you need in the room. The staff at front desk were very helpful.
The bed was way too firm for me. The tub was quite slippery you have to ask for a non slip tub mat but it should just be in there. I thought the rooftop terrace was wasted space, with such a beautiful view they could do something very special with that space. When I went up there were hardly any tables and chairs. Maybe that changes during summer season? I’m not sure the A/C in my room worked properly as it never really cooled down that much.

great staff and clean. Location can't be beat.
The rooms and hotel are very dated and honestly uncomfortable. No A/C and NO way to use the heater as a fan just to move the air around in the room. Had to sleep, or try to sleep with the windows open. Fortunately, I had ear plugs or it would have been a total nightmare.

Location to city. Modern looking hotel from outside
Very loud location at night. Hotel is listed as 4 star but we have stayed at other 4 star hotels in the area and feel the rating might not be appropriate. Not sure if the room assigned to us is the reason for our rating. Would definitely not stay there again
