Location is perfect.
Facilities are great.
Room allocated as requested.
No iron room, nor iron provided for the guests, and extra charge for the iron service if required.

Disappointing
The location is great, as it is close to the Vasco da Gama shopping center and Oriente train / bus station.
The refrigerator didn't work at all, so we had no cool water to drink.
We went to the reception desk to request to purchase cool water, and they sent us to a nearby gas station for water.
One wall had severely blistered, peeling, unsightly paint.
The air conditioning didn't work, there was a fan and the white noise was nice, but we slept poorly because it was too hot and humid, and this is only mid-April.
We found clipped toenails, huge ones, as in great toenails, in the carpet next to the bed, just after arriving.
We had to request the gluten-free bread four times before it was served, and we were already finished with breakfast by the time it was brought to our table.
There was no non-slip mat available for shower safety.
After the shower, there was quite a sizable puddle on the floor due to a significant gap under the shower door. We immediately mopped it up with one of our towels.
We were not asked at check out if there were any issues with the room, but volunteered our observations in hopes that improvements will be made for the next guest.

Disappointing
The location
Had several safety issues:
1) hot water burn issue in shower; went from hot to cold and back to hot
2) slipping / falling issue in the shower and difficult to get into
3) the glass shower doors were dangerous, not fixed
4) problem with the room AC; not cooling properly and no instructions for thermostat
5) breakfast was not up to standards, no jellies, some of the items were cold, the fruits were brown, no omelets, no pancakes

The smell of air freshener as soon as you walk in and throughout the hallways to the guest rooms was much too heavy and perfumed . Rather sickening.
I was grateful it wasn’t also in the guest rooms or else I would have had to stay somewhere else.

Hotel was clean and modern and seemed to be in a safe area. Room was comfortable and clean.
we requested a taxi ride to the airport and when our taxi did not arrive, I had to go inside and get them to call another taxi. When we checked in we were told that there was a free shuttle to the airport, which we booked. This was not what we were told the next morning, although it may have been a misunderstanding due to different languages.
