Staff and location were key! Room was small , but bed was comfortable with daily service. Breakfast was decent but same things everyday. Fresh squeezed oj was a nice touch. You were greeted with a smile everyday by the multi lingual staff with a positive attitude.

The hotel is on a quiet street off Liberdade. Clean and comfortable for the price. The small pool at the rear is surrounded by buildings and appears to be permanently in the shade. The pool is okay for a few swim strokes or a cooling dip, but no more than that. Overall a value for money chain hotel.
First room we were given was like a prison cell with a tiny window, not like the majority of pictures showing rooms with floor to ceiling windows. We did move to a room with better natural light after complaining. We booked room only because breakfast is not something we always have. What really annoyed me and is a disgraceful way to treat your guests, is to be told that if you do not book breakfast at check in, it would be more expensive if you decided later! What customer service handbook did that come from!
