Staff and the human aspect is always the best differentiating factor. I am gratful to Diana at the reception and Jose at the restaurant, both of them made the difference for me in this trip. For their genuine desire to help and to show kindness Thank you both for making my lisbon trip such a good experience BTW breakfast was great too

Wonderful
Location is ideal, easy to access all shops and restaurants on Ave Liberdade. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. José who I saw everyday during breakfast, always came with a smile and friendly demeanor. The room was clean, and although very close to ave Liberdade, it wasn’t noisy. I recommend the hotel and will definitely visit again.

Good location, nice room and great breakfast
We booked a room with a bathtub, but only after getting there we were told the bathtubs in the whole hotel just don’t work. Staff was a bit sarcastic about it so if we’d known we could’ve saved money in a room.

great location, very close to fabulous Saturday markets, great restaurants nearby. Room had a nice balcony which we liked although only a view of other buildings clean and comfortable neighborhood felt safe and was interesting
no elevator so had to carry luggage up a few flights of stairs, teach me to travel light! also there was a very strong smell, not unpleasant but overpowering- some scent they had that was too strong forme

The property was what I expected it to be, clean and grand. The Location was great and the small touches were ok. The guest service manager left a cake and a note for my birthday which was a lovely surprise, and the restaurant staff and cleaner were attentive and always willing to help. There was a brown reception staff member (sorry didn’t get his name) who was always friendly with beaming smile.
The system for booking breakfast needs to be redesigned as I found out bookings taken after 12 noon are not transferred to the restaurant list, on 2 occasions it was implied that I didn’t/ or didn’t arrange to pay for the service, which is offensive. The issue was down to reception not properly checking or booking the slot, the restaurant staff were embarrassed each time and are not to blame. The room service on the app is available till late, one night I tried to book and didn’t receive a response. When I went downstairs to collect Uber eats there were 3 staff at reception and a lead waiter in reception doing nothing
