Great location with easy Metro ride into Baixa. Nice restaurants within walking distance and other great amenities nearby. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Easy to find and use parking garage. Nice bar and good breakfast.

Beautiful interior and great location.
One particular reception staff was very rude and not very helpful. However we received a lovely letter from the manager on arrival that really made us feel welcome and cancelled out the negative energy from the front of house staff member. Thank you for such a lovely touch.

We stayed at TURIM Saldanha Hotel for around two weeks, so our review is based on a longer stay rather than just a few nights.
The positives: the reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful, check-in and check-out were smooth, the location is good, the rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and there was enough space for clothes and luggage. The fridge/minibar and elevators were also fine.
The Wi-Fi was generally good and stable, although some websites would not open through the hotel network.
Street noise was well blocked with the windows closed, but unfortunately the soundproofing between rooms was very poor. I could literally hear our neighbours snoring at night.
The biggest issue was housekeeping. Cleaning was inconsistent, sometimes staff came before 9:00 a.m., and basic supplies were not replenished regularly. Shampoo, coffee and creamers were often not replaced when they ran out. Our colleagues staying at the same hotel had similar issues with bottled water not being replenished, and housekeeping even left cleaning items behind in the room.
Towels and bed linen were clean, but they were not changed regularly.
The room setup was also not very practical. There were no power outlets next to the bed at all, despite having several light switches on both sides. The hotel only had very short extension cords, which did not really help.
There was no iron in the room, and getting a usable one from the hotel was difficult. The ones we received either worked poorly or barely heated up.
The bathroom was another weak point. The glass doors provide very little privacy and do not fully close. Ventilation is also poor, so after a shower the room becomes very humid, the mirror fogs up completely and everything stays damp for quite a while.
Breakfast was acceptable, with good coffee and pastries, but very repetitive. Over two weeks, the selection barely changed.
We had booked two separate beds, but in reality they were pushed completely together, so they felt more like one large bed.

The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. It’s conveniently located close to two metro stations.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was simple but tasty, with everything we needed to start the day. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
The only downsides were that the room was quite small and the soundproofing could be better, as we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms.

Plenty of breakfast/brunch places in the surrounding area. Easy check-in - no added fees. Hotel/room was very clean and towels etc changed daily.
