Wonderful Hotel, cozy, elegant, very well-located on the beatiful avenue in Lisbon.
Everything was very beatiful until we get to check-out day. Our plane was 10 pm and we asked for late check-out until 6 or 7 pm. We were told our room is not available. Ok, we understand this. We also asked for lower category room with a reasonable price. But a receptionist guy offer us a room with lowest standarts with full night price. Whatever we asked for, he directly refused us. Me and my wife totally shocked with his attitudes. I am an hotel expert but modern hotel management should not be like something this. Never flexibiliy, never welcoming. Anyway, we do not want to let this unpleasant moment ruin our unique experience with this great hotel.

Exceptional service from the staff, who went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. On our first morning we identified a few issues, these were all sorted by that evening. The provision of water daily was excellent. Also the turndown service was great. The quietness of the hotel was fantastic.
The bed was a bit hard, despite the staff bringing an extra topper to soften it.

The breakfast is superb and well worth paying for. The staff are attentive, hard working and polite. The rooms were comfortable with good amenities.
On our last day, the pool did not open on time at the advertised 9am time, and led to a slightly odd situation where one of the doormen had to come to the roof to open up (with 4 of us waiting upstairs in our bathrobes) but as he was in a suit, my wife (in her swimming costume) was asked to help remove the pool cleaner.
