Having to discover that there was no hot water when trying to have a shower. No one in reception mentioned the issue that afternoon. Carpark okay but not totally secure.

The premium suite with a view to the Tagus river was our choice! Jorge Lima allowed an amazing set up for the perfect night plus he went above and beyond by giving us late check out, that just made our time there even more special. Thank you and Rya for the warm welcoming. Intend to come back as soon as possible.
The room was super comfortable and spacious, elegant yet simply decorated. Really beautiful!
Breakfast with lots of options to choose from.

Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent, the best of the stay.
At check in as I was exiting the taxi in front of the hotel entrance and unloading two heavy suitcases (the taxi driver had a surgery and couldn’t lift heavy weights) and accompanied by two young children, and after the taxi driver had gone inside the lobby to ask for help - the 4 staff members behind the reception desks just stood by and did not offer to help at all, even after seeing me drag the suitcases inside. When I complained, instead of apologizing profusely and helping me with the cases they said they didn’t understand sign language and that the taxi driver didn’t explain properly!
The whole reception is glass windowed with clear view of the main street/ entrance where I was, so even without the taxi drivers request they could clearly see me struggling yet didn’t do anything about it. And the attitude after is appalling.
They hadn’t also acknowledged my request of lower floors- and only after requesting it again they placed me on the 4th floor.
The bedroom was also not thoroughly clean and too hot due to the high temperatures (not their fault) and sun facing windows and even with max AC it was still very hot. When I mentioned this at check out (after being asked how was my stay) along with my unwelcoming reception/ check in (this lady was much nicer and professional) I mentioned I had taken a bottle of water from the mini bar to hydrate as it was too hot and they still charged me for it! It wasn’t much money but it’s just the gesture after I explained everything…
It was possibly the weakest front of house customer service I’ve experienced in any hotel and the first time I believe I’m complaining on booking.
I suggest they train their staff as well as they have trained the breakfast staff that despite the busy time were lovely, hard working, dedicated and incredibly professional.
