Wonderful
Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. The staff were kind and accomodating. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have ever seen at a hotel.
We had to pay for 2 ubers to the airport as there was only one shuttle. We waiting for the shuttle to return 2x and still were not able to get our family on.

Room very comfortable and spacious nice layout very updated. Very close to airport- walkable! Not close to other amenities in Lisbon but buses and subway are close by. Pool spa and gym fantastic! Pool water warm. Staff very friendly. Restaurant nice with good choices and breakfast was superb!
Really nothing- to be close to airport it was excellent! Could put some whitener in the room with the coffee maker/kettle????

The airport is a 5 minute walk (although careful of the traffic circle) and is very comfortable. The staff was excellent and very accommodating of our need to store
luggage for an extended period. The free shuttle was extremely convenient.
The halls are very dark and the modern design made the lights in the room confusing.

We were very targeted about what we wanted when we booked here. We sought close proximity to the airport the night before our morning flight home as well as to the metro (so that we could walk to the very accessible station, ride in to the center of Lisbon to have one last authentic Portuguese meal and an amble close to the river) and we got exactly what we hoped. We also wanted a nice room, comfortable bed, breakfast offered early (starts at 4am!), and parking (extra 15 euros.)The Meliá delivered. As with much of Portugal, there's always some climbing. Walking with bags to metro or airport is not impossible, but would be somewhat burdensome. Thankfully there's a shuttle and though we didn't use it (we had a rental car), we imagine it's simple, easy, and would get you to the airport very quickly.
The surfaces in the room felt a bit limited, especially with so many menus taking up space to buy minibar/snack or room service. Make sure to direct shower heads well away from the door. There was not a good seal and the floor got quite wet. Parking was slightly confusing. Staff did not remind me or inquire as I was checking out about paying for parking. That was partly on us, but it's just a small detail that would have been helpful for staff to inquire. Without the parking validation my husband and I failed to easily divide and conquer as we usually do in hotels. While I went to check out, he went to fetch the car, then couldn't exit the secure lot under the building without a validated parking stub. Service was not adequate for him to call me in the lobby. We had to call up to the desk for them to let us out (button on parking box.) Ultimately not a big deal, but could just be smoother.

This was a great hotel to stay at that was close to the airport. Our nice, well-appointed room was very quiet. They offer a free shuttle to the airport. An excellent breakfast starts at 4 am if you have a very early flight.

Hotel is nicely located. The room was well equipped, very clean with many features. Swimming pool was great as well (except for the access). Staff was nice and helpful.
1. The fact that you need to pass through the restaurant in order to go to the spa is not comfortable
2. I had to run 3 times up and down to the reception asking for the new access card until one gentleman has finally realised that my door was broken.
3. Don't take "breakfast to go box" - croissant was old , dry and not eatable. Better go to their sister hotel who offers breakfast from 2am.
